Hey everyone, I’m a former ActiveCampaign user and I’ve just reactivated my account this morning !! I was wondering if it’s possible to integrate the MailTester.Ninja API into the app. It’s super easy to use and could make things much simpler for a lot of people. Thanks in advance
Hi gang,I am having the HARDEST time trying to attribute utm tracking with our Calendly events in ActiveCampaign.I can see the utm data in Calendly, but I do not see any of that data available to pass through into ActiveCampaign, whether it be through the direct integration in AC, or through an automation that triggers when an event happens (trying to find the data and then update a field like “Original Source” or “Latest Source”).Every time I try to work with ActiveIntelligence, it proposes ideas (or builds automations) that are not working. Is there an obvious solution that I am missing?
Great job, Session 2!You just built your first segments, campaign, and personalization flow in Active Intelligence - nice work. Here’s what to do next and a few resources to keep the momentum going before Session 3. 📌 Your One Action This WeekTake one thing you built in Session 2 and refine it:your segment your campaign your CTA or your formIf you want an easy place to start, I’d recommend tightening one segment and then updating the campaign prompt to match it.💬 Share what you builtWhat audience did you segment? What kind of campaign did ACAI create for you? What did you change to make it feel more personalized?Drop your prompt below and tag someone whose workflow you want to borrow for next time. ✍️ Extra Resources Prompt LibraryThe Prompt Library has examples for campaigns, automations, performance, segments, forms, goals, and more. 👉 Active Intelligence Prompt Library Building SegmentsYou can create and save segments, layer conditions with AND/OR logic, and reuse saved segments
Hi everyone,We have used ActiveCampaign for newsletters for many years without major deliverability issues. Since Wednesday, our test emails and campaigns have suddenly stopped reaching inboxes properly.ActiveCampaign shows the emails as sent, but recipients mostly do not receive them or few they land in spam/junk. We have not made any changes to our usual templates, sender domains, content style, or list setup. What we have checked:Our sending domains show as authenticated in ActiveCampaign. Recent campaign performance has been strong. We tested with link tracking disabled, but the issue remained. Personal Gmail did not receive the test. Work Outlook-email did not receive the test. Personal Outlook received it in spam/junk.From the original Outlook message details authentication appears to pass:SPF: pass DKIM: pass DMARC: pass compauth: passHowever, Microsoft classified the message as high-confidence spam:SCL: 9 BCL: 0 Delivery: Junk / spamThe email appears to be sent via ActiveCampaig

We're planning a comprehensive Ruby on Rails industry report and have already built the dedicated survey landing page.Current stack we use:React Strapi ActiveCampaignNow, I'm unsure how to go-ahead with ActiveCampaign for this. The goal is to analyze the data later for the final report. Has anyone tried it? How would you approach this with activecampaign?
Hello,We submitted our App Studio integration more than five business days ago and its status is still showing as Submitted, without moving to the review stage. This integration is being developed for an active customer implementation, and our delivery timeline currently depends on the App Studio approval.Could you please check if there are any issues with our submission or if there is any additional information required from our side? If possible, we would also appreciate any assistance in prioritizing the review.Thank you in advance.
We would also like to request a complete audit of the domains currently being used for our email communications. The objective is to identify any issues or opportunities for improvement that may be affecting our email deliverability, sender reputation, inbox placement, and overall email performance.Could you please review and provide recommendations regarding: Domain reputation and health SPF, DKIM and DMARC configuration Dedicated vs. shared sending domains Tracking domain configuration Email authentication best practices Potential spam or deliverability risks Domain warm-up status (if applicable) Opportunities to improve inbox placement and sender reputation Please share any findings, recommendations, or actions that you believe could help us improve the performance of our email marketing activities.
In the abandoned cart email, products are currently displayed in a single-column layout (one product per row), which makes the email excessively long whenever multiple items are present in the cart.In addition, the current presentation is not visually appealing and gives the email a low-quality appearance, especially when the cart contains several products. The layout feels cluttered and does not reflect the professional image we want to convey through our brand communications. We would like to change the product section to a two-column grid layout, displaying 2 products per row (2x2, 2x3, etc., depending on the number of items in the cart), while keeping each product's image, name, price, and call-to-action button.Example:Product 1 | Product 2Product 3 | Product 4Product 5 | Product 6The goal is to reduce the overall length of the email, improve readability, create a more professional and visually appealing design, and ultimately increase cart recovery rates.
Hello community,We pulls email_activity records from the /api/3/emailActivities endpoint, and I'm encountering inconsistent results between API calls made on different dates. I wanted to check if anyone else has run into this and found a reliable workaround. The Problem:I called the /api/3/emailActivities endpoint (unfiltered) on June 16, and it returned 239 records. The most recent record had a timestamp of June 16.I called the same endpoint again on June 18 and 20 June, it returned 261 records and 271 records respectively more records than before(June 16). However, many of the new records have timestamps from June 8 and June 10, which are dates that were already in the past when I made my first call on June 16. Most recent record had tstamp of June 16 Only. This means records from June 8 and June 10 were not returned in my June 16 call, but appeared later in my June 18 and June 20 call. Is there a recommended approach for building a reliable incremental sync against this endpoint? A
I would like to see reCAPTCHAv3 ability for forms, I use an ActiveCampaign form for some gated content in which people can choose to subscribe to mailing list or not on their way in.Puzzle-style CAPTCHAs can be frustrating at times, and could be even more so to a person who just wants the content. I want to protect the gated content and the mailing list from bots via the same form, but I think the need is still as compelling for just the use of email sign up forms.I notice someone has already asked about this in another part of the forum;

Newer to the community here!Question regarding AC into Salesforce for updating fields. I think my automation isn’t triggering at the correct time. Here are my automation steps:Automation starts when someone submits a form Contact gets an email Internal team gets notified A new lead is created into Salesforce Tag is added - added to salesforce Then Add lead to Salesforce campaignI have a separate automation that is doing the followingWhen added to salesforce tag is added Update lead source to ActiveCampaignFor someone reason the lead source isn’t updating. I have the fields mapped properly in the AC dashboard in Salesforce. I am thinking it may be the timing of it all? I tried added the “update lead source” after step 5 in the first automation but that didn’t work. The add to Salesforce campaign works although it takes 20 minutes!Any ideas on what could be the problem?
I received an email titled Action Required: Invalid Unsubscribe Link in Your Scheduled Campaign It looks fake. Far less fake than most scams. Can anyone confirm?
I’m excited to share a new version of Active Intelligence: Active Intelligence 2.8.This update is designed to help you create broadcast campaigns and automated journeys that feel more like your brand from the very first draft. Instead of starting from a blank slate, Active Intelligence 2.8 builds from more of your real context, so the output is faster, stronger, and more aligned with how you already work. Here’s what that looks like in practice:Brand voice, tone, and visuals can play a bigger role from the start Reference Campaigns and file uploads give Active Intelligence a stronger starting point Custom Instructions help carry your preferences across campaigns Memory helps Active Intelligence build on past work over time The experience is improved for both one-time sends and automated journeysThe big goal is simple: help you spend less time fixing drafts and more time sending work you feel good about. If you’ve tried Active Intelligence before and it didn’t quite feel like you, this is
If your team is spending too much time moving from intake to execution, this is one of the easiest ACAI use cases to start with. A common agency bottleneck looks like this: the strategist finishes the brief, but the first draft takes too long, revisions pile up, and launch gets delayed. ACAI can help shorten that middle section. A simple workflow looks like this: start with a clear campaign brief use ACAI to generate a strong first draft faster review the structure, messaging, and segmentation before launch refine for brand voice, audience fit, and offer clarity The win is not letting AI do everything. The win is reducing production time while keeping strategic control in your hands. For agencies, that can mean faster turnaround, healthier margins, and more time for optimization instead of first-draft production. A good partner habit here is to treat ACAI as a first-draft engine, not the final approver. The stronger the brief, the stronger the output. For example, instead of asking ACA
Hello,We are trying to use the bulk import API to upload our data with a csv file. I am able to send the file get a 200 response. However, when going into the Active Campaign site to verify the changes, only the custom field values are getting updated. The “First Name” included in the csv file is not reflected in Active Campaign record. Is there something specific we must include? We are using email as the identifier. Additionally, I am able to get the batches I imported via the API. However, when on the Active Campaign site, it does not show on the recent imports list. Is that intentional? Thanks!
'search contact' box has disappeared. have tried all the usuals - different browser, different computer, zoom screen. When I laoad contacts page it appears for a few seconds then vanishes. Any suggestions anyone? - It looks like a bug
I have a simple review email in the automation that asks people to pick between 1 and 5 stars, and I set a tag for every rating link to be applied. However, it doesn’t work. It links to the native form, where it then offers option to add feedback. BUT my primary goal is to capture the link with the rating clicked. It’s like link.com/f/74?stars=5&email=bob@gmail.com (email is dynamic). And this is sent to existing contacts. So puzzled, I even disabled site tracking but still doesn’t seem to get it to work. Please advise.
I'll admit something. I spent months writing increasingly elaborate prompts before a customer story stopped me cold. Adam Cain at ElectricityRates.com built a working customer-scoring system by opening with the flattest prompt you could imagine: "Just have at this and tell us what you think." He fed Gemini the raw data first, let it surface patterns his team hadn't thought to look for, and only then did he start layering in business rules (contract-end date under 60 days, available savings above 7%). His actual quote: "Don't go and ask AI for specific things. If you have a data set, just upload it." What's a piece of AI prompting or workflow advice you brushed off as too basic, that quietly turned out to be the thing that worked? Would love to hear the ones that embarrassed you a little. I have written a few hundred newsletters for my list and want to export them all. How do I do that?
The side menu has changed and campaigns are no longer an option. I tried the chat, and the AI only gave me instructions for the old wait of doing it. How can I create a campaign today, with the new setup?
Bumped into a customer story that's been rattling around in my head all week. Adam Cain at ElectricityRates.com runs an entire email operation by himself, and the whole thing hangs on one number per contact: a "Switch Readiness Score" between 0 and 100.Gemini generates the score from about ten customer signals (contract end dates, savings potential, engagement history). A custom object in ActiveCampaign holds it, and the AI decides whether someone gets 14 emails in a week or drips quietly along in the background. Monthly conversions went up 200%, unsubscribes sat at 0.2%.Has anyone else here built something like this for your list? Curious what variables you're feeding the model, and whether you're keeping the score calculation inside your ESP or scoring externally and syncing it in.Read the full post: How ElectricityRates.com Built an Autonomous Email Engine
Hi there,We have a Free Trial Onboarding email Automation, and an Active Customer Onboarding email Automation. Each of these is triggered when the freetrial or activecustomer field value changes to true, respectively. Right now, we also have to have a third automation to end the Free Trial Automation when the customer converts to a paid (Active Customer) during the trial period (this is triggered when the freetrial field changes to false and the activecustomer field changes to true). I would like to be able to build this “End Automation” step into the Free Trial Automation itself.I know that I could add if/else conditions before each email send, but that seems SO cludgy.I’m also trying to figure out if there’s a way to use the “Contacts Exit When” setting in the automation itself, using a Conversion, but I’m not understanding how to add the conversion itself into the automation. I created a Conversion for freetrial = false AND activecustomer = true, but those changes happen OUTSIDE of
Has anyone figured out a good way to exclude contacts who purchased a specific product via ecommerce from a segment? As far as I'm aware, the condition: "Product name in Any Order" IS NOT "Product A" doesn't work properly, because if a contact has ever purchased any other product, they will be included in the segment (because technically, the condition is true that at least one of their products was not the "Example Product").
