Name: Brittni Arthur (she/her) (LinkedIn)
Location: Vancouver, BC
Company: Founder, Snap Systems

What is your business background?

My background is in nonprofit. In 2020 I completed a Masters in Leadership and felt it was time for a pivot. I found MarTech and Marketing Ops, more specifically marketing automation and saw how it could help SMBs thrive. Since then, I haven’t looked back.

In 2021 I started Snap Systems. Since then I've worked with 40+ clients across multiple industries.

Why do you participate as a Community Ambassador?

My path to the program was a natural one. Through my ActiveCampaign consulting work, I was already spending a lot of time in community groups, answering questions and helping users solve their challenges.

When the opportunity to become an Ambassador arose, it felt like the perfect alignment. It provides an official channel for me to continue helping businesses leverage ActiveCampaign to its fullest potential, while also allowing me to contribute directly to the platform's growth. It's a true win-win, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it.

What is your favorite ActiveCampaign feature, automation, or trick?:

When I look at client accounts, I consistently see two underutilized strategies that can dramatically improve performance:

1. Automated Engagement Monitoring & List Hygiene: It's incredibly common to find accounts cluttered with disengaged contacts. These aren't just inactive leads; they're actively costing money and skewing engagement metrics. Implementing a robust engagement monitoring system that automatically triggers a re-engagement campaign (and eventually unsubscribes inactive contacts) is the most effective way to maintain a healthy list, keep costs down, and improve deliverability.

2. Targeted Retargeting Emails: As a close second, simple retargeting automations offer some of the highest ROI you can get. I’ve seen a single, well-timed retargeting email convert at over 50%. They are remarkably easy to implement and can have an immediate and noticeable impact on your bottom line.

Both of these are foundational practices for any healthy, high-performing marketing automation setup.

Anything else we should know about you?

My journey into MarTech was driven by a passion for helping people, which stems from my background in the nonprofit sector. There, I saw firsthand how talented individuals were often overwhelmed by tedious work, preventing them from focusing on their organization's core mission.

When I discovered marketing automation, I knew I had found a solution. I made it my mission to learn everything I could about it. I'm a firm believer that by automating the 'busy work,' we can empower people to get back to the work that truly matters and allows them to thrive. For me, marketing automation is the key to unlocking that potential.
