If you send an HTML email that exceeds 102 KB, you risk Gmail “clipping” your email. This is a display limit set by Gmail and is a common issue that can arise with users. What does this mean for you? When contacts receive your email, Gmail will display the first 102 KB of your communication and then show the “[Message Clipped] View entire message” directive. Contacts will only be able to read your full email by clicking the “View entire message” link located toward the bottom of your email. Clicking this link will display the full message body and unsubscribe link. If Gmail “clips” your email, you risk contacts not reading all of your information. In addition, this can negatively impact your deliverability rates as contacts will not have the option to click the unsubscribe link unless they click “View entire message” first. This may trigger your subscribers to mark your message as spam if they no longer want to hear from you. When a message is clipped, the Gmail mobile app will disabl
Hi, for the failed recurrent payment recipe, does it get triggered if the order gets placed on hold (in woocommerce) or failed? I ask because I set up the recipe but when I see the contacts in the automation, none of their subscriptions actually failed. As a result, I got a ton of people cancelling their subscriptions…
Hi All, I am getting leads for webinars from stealth seminars. I have set up a tag of webinar leads. and I am running an automation on that tag but unfortunately. My automation does not send emails to anyone. I am unable to find the bug. I have set 3 emails initially and my sender email is also verified. Anyone can help me with this?
If I set up an automation set to send emails every day but a contact may want to read them all faster (ie a mini course with tips every day) is there a way for the contact to hit a link to ask for the next email quicker?
Olá, pessoal! Gostaria de remover um email que não faz mais sentido na minha régua automática, porém mantendo os dados de engajamento deste email no relatório da automação. É possível?
Is there an automation I can set up that automatically moves a bounced address from an email send to a Do-Not-Send list or unsubscribes them?
I am sending out a weekly email campaign, when I create a new campaign is there a way to refer back to older campaigns in case they missed it. Karen
Hello! I am trying to connect Active Campaign and our Google Business Profile through Zapier. When someone posts a review, I want it to tag the contact. I am having issues with the zap finding the contact. It seems like the Active Campaign zap step needs either Email or Contact ID in order to find the contact & tag them, however the Google Review zap only passes through the name. Is there a way to find the contact in a zapier step through their name? Does anyone else have this set up and is able to walk me through it? Thank you in advance!! Zapier
Hi! I’m trying to set up Google Ads tracking in AC, but the modal window to connect my lead form just keeps buffering. I can’t get any options to show in the drop down list for “Use Google Ads as:”, “Select Managed Account” or “Select Lead Form”, which makes it impossible to set up this integration. Does anyone know what can be causing this? Anyone who have succeeded and can tell me if it has functional tracking capabilities in general?
We have various pop up forms on our website (relevant to each page’s content). Once a website visitor submits their information, a new contact is being created within AC and a corresponding tag being assigned. Next we send a slack message to our sales channel with the contact submitted information. How do I include that assigned tag in the slack message (it is not include in the personalization option)?
For some reason, AC is not capturing all the field information on one of my embedded forms on my website. Any ideas?
Hi all, I was wondering if I can set up multiple freelance client automations within one AC account? Which means I will need to set up an automation and campaigns for different email addresses and websites. Is this possible or will each of my freelance clients need to sign up and pay for their own AC account? I am just starting out freelancing so wanted to try to set up a clients automations inside my existing account so they don’t have to sign up just yet and then if I do a good job for them I will migrate their automations to their own AC account. Is this possible?

Hi - new here! I am getting some widely inaccurate open rates - both openning the email and also the click rates. I have 3800 on my AC + most campaigns i send out i get a 15-19% open rate and 3-4% click rate. However for some campaigns i get 50-60% open + same for click - however it says people have clicked on it more than 10,000 - 15,000 times which is obviously wrong. I tried to contact AC but they aren’t coming up with anything - just saying it is normal rates overall - which it definitly isn’t! I’d appreciate any help. 🙂
Dark Mode is a popular setting for several email clients. However, this setting can cause your email to render in some unexpected ways. Read on to learn what Dark Mode is and how to optimize your campaign for this setting. What is Dark Mode? Dark mode is a setting that displays light-colored text, icons, and UI elements on dark backgrounds. When an email client detects a background color, it applies a dark background if it has not been set and applies contrast shades of email content colors. When it comes to a black background, the dark mode turns it to white in Gmail on iOS and Andriod. Then dark grey is shifted to light grey, etc. Dark Mode is a very popular setting for lots of reasons, including: Preference for darker interfaces It can help minimize eye strain, especially in low-light situations It saves battery life by reducing screen brightness It can improve content legibility Dark Mode is enabled by the contact or subscriber either through their email client or App UI. My client wants to be able to determine, with every new contact, how they entered our list (Ex. Website form, Active Campaign form, manual entry, etc.). What would be the best way to go about that? Is it tags? Is it a hidden field?
Hi, I am really hoping there is some solution here. I usually put an image 1200x200 px at the top of my emails and it shows up fine. For the last week, when adding any image of this size, even ones which worked fine before, it shows up absolutely tiny and impossible to tell what it is - and even in the preview it is the same. Anyone know why this is happening and how I can get back to having a banner image on my emails. Thanks
Does anyone know how to identify exactly what products have been purchased when AC give revenue accreditation to an email campaign? We have had some very successful campaigns generating 6 figure sales and yet can’t identify what products where bought other than trying to link up the information in Woocommerce (which is tricky with the 7 day accreditation window and other marketing efforts involved too).
I’ve been with Active Campaign for 10-plus years and never had any issues. Today, I sent an email to a list where some of the people are not just customers but personal friends, and I have 2,000 unsubscribed in 15 seconds of my sending, which is over 1/2 of that list. I have no way of contacting support as their site is all messed up, and I have no number to call. Can someone help me or supply a number to call, a chat link, or anything?
We are testing out the custom contact object records API and did the steps here: Contact Custom Objects API Guide We created the schema ok and also got a successful API response after creating the object record associated to a contact. But when we view the contact in the Active Campaign UI, the record does not appear as shown in the example’s screenshot. We are using our free developer account for testing. Is an Enterprise subscription plan required to view custom object records in the Active Campaign UI?
Can I also define a display condition in an e-mail for a product from the product catalog? For example, if contact field=xy then show product xy?
I’ve run out of contacts in AC, and AC already recharged me for the same kind of account which doesn’t have additional contacts. Obviously, I’m going to choose a plan that has additional contacts, but I Want to change to monthly billing. Will AC reimburse the plan they just charged me for? Especially since it’s useless to me? Thanks for your input in advance Mia
We are still in the process of getting up and running in ActiveCampaign but this has come up. When a contact syncs from Salesforce to ActiveCampaign, they are tagged automatically with a “import-from-salesforce” tag. Is there a way to also automatically tag contacts to specific lists based on their data in a specific custom field?
Hello, What is the best way to integrate ActiveCampaign with Trustpilot, and how can customer reviews be included in the campaign builder? Can anyone suggest strategies for lead scoring and reviews? Cheers!
How do I send out automations emails after upgrade to subscribers that subscribed but the email wasn’t sent because I was at capacity?
