Can I track how a contact entered a list?

My client wants to be able to determine, with every new contact, how they entered our list (Ex. Website form, Active Campaign form, manual entry, etc.).

What would be the best way to go about that? Is it tags? Is it a hidden field?

Hi, the easiest and most practical way would be to add a TAG to each form (In AC Form you can find it in options >> Add a Tag). And for example, naming that tag like this: “source-web”, “source-landing”, “source-popup”, etc…
