Auto tagging upon integration?

We are still in the process of getting up and running in ActiveCampaign but this has come up. When a contact syncs from Salesforce to ActiveCampaign, they are tagged automatically with a “import-from-salesforce” tag. Is there a way to also automatically tag contacts to specific lists based on their data in a specific custom field?

Hi Jessica,

Marissa here from the ActiveCampaign Customer Experience team. That tag is automatically set up with our integration. To add more tags I would recommend using an automation to set up new & different tags based on custom field data.

The automation start trigger would be “field changes”, and then you can add a step in the automation to “add a tag” to the contact with whatever tag best suits that segment.
