Hey everyone! 👋 I’m diving into the world of lead magnets and could use some wisdom from the pros! I’ve crafted this awesome white paper, but I’m scratching my head on the technical side of things. My main question: What’s the best way to redirect someone after they click “download” on a white paper? 🤔 I’ve heard about creating thank you pages, but I’ve got a few concerns: Won’t this slow down my site’s load time? If I end up with multiple white papers, do I need separate thank you pages for each one? Has anyone found a slick solution for this? Maybe a way to handle redirects without bloating the site? I’m all ears for your experiences - the good, the bad, and the “oh no, don’t do what I did” stories! 😅 If you’ve got any clever code snippets or killer tutorials that helped you conquer this, I’d be over the moon! 🌙 Thanks a million in advance - you folks are the real MVPs! 🏆 Vincent
I can not figure out what is going on with my automation. it is a 3 step welcome email/autonation and I can not get it to work. I can manually send emails out from my contact list but it appears it is the automation part that is now working.
Hey, I have a super-signature at the bottom of my email campaigns. The goal is to get leads to reply with either “STORY”, “CCO”, or “MACHINE”. Then depending on what they reply with, I want an automation that automatically sends the corrosponding link. i.e. My campaign → prospect replies “STORY” → I automatically send link to the story YT video My campaign → prospect replies “CCO” → I automatically send link to the sales page of this offer. My campaign → prospect replies “MACHINE” → I automatically send the link to a DIFFERENT landing page. What I’ve ALREADY tried: I’ve already tried to start an automation with the “replies to an email trigger”, and then create an IF/ELSE condition set to “if they reply to an email, then do this”. BUT, the problem is… I want to reply to leads DEPENDING on the content inside of THEIR reply (like “STORY” or “CCO” or “MACHINE”) How can I setup an autoresponder to send certain links to leads who reply with a certain keyword? Your help is much appreciated,
We are working with a design agency on some creatives to include in an upcoming email campaign, and they had the following (3) questions: Can ActiveCampaign platform take DCO creatives, served through Flashtalking? Can we implement DoubleVerify Tags, monitoring and blocking or only blocking tags? Can your platform take branded mobiles? Meaning mobile sizes (300x50/320x50) will be served through an HTML5 not Static (as usually served)?

How is it possible to change the primary admin? I’d like to upgrade another user to become the primary admin as the person who was responsible is taking maternity leave. However it doesn’t seem possible to change roles
We have an automation setup so that they will automatically receive their first email when a new contact is added. However, sometimes it seems like the email isn’t received right away. Is there some delay in when the emails are sent out from activecampaign? We do not have a delay added within the automation for the first email. Thanks
Is it possible to add a new client to an existing active automation but not at the beginning of the automation, but at a specific stage of the automation. For context - I started a weekly email delivery (not automated) to my new membership in May, 2024, when I was first building out the content, now I want to focus on bringing in more members and create a weekly automated email so i don’t have to send them manually to the original group and the new members. (trying to create a simpler and time-freedom delivery) If I set up an automated series of emails to be delivered weekly when someone NEW registers, how can I include the existing members without them getting the earlier emails that new members will get ? Is this even possible? I would be hugely grateful for your insights and how to’s. Thanks, Anna

Hi there, I am using Active Campaign’s API to upload contacts, accounts etc. How do I upload a physical address to an account. I.e how do I upload the “address_1”, “address_2”, “city” etc fields? Thank you for your help.
“Use stories in your emails” they said. “Great - I’m up for it” you said. … tumbleweeds blew … Because how are normal humans supposed to get enough good-enough stories to use in their email marketing?! ➡️ I’m sharing my story stash secrets, right here right now. Real life friends will have seen this play out - I get a far away look in my eyes, grab a weirdo picture and dictate email-related gobbledegook into my phone. If you’re curious on what makes me behave like this in public, watch this short YouTube on how to build a bottomless stash of stories to use in your email marketing. (featuring the secret orchid, lost but not lost airpods, some very strangled plants, and split tested curly hair) If I can do it, you can do it - and your email marketing strategy will be better for it. ⬇️ Watch > Like > Comment > Subscribe > Share ⬇️ Email Marketing: Easily Source Engaging Stories to Send

Hello, we experience that our floating box form is not showing on our wordpress site. We have installed the activecampaign plugin, and connected through API. All forms are showing in the settings → activecamapign page, and we’ve marked the form we would like to show. It’s not working. Our enbedded form are embedded without issues. Have you experienced the same issue or do you have any suggestions?
Our floating box keeps showing to the same user multiple times in the same session, when the user has signed up and goes to another page on the same website - inspite of the “hide after interaction” setting. It looks like the activecamapign cookies is not beeing saved and therefore the user is not beeing recognised, when he goes to a new page. Have you experienced this, and did you find a solution?
Hey! I love working with Activecampaign. We actually more use it as a business automation system than sending campaigns. 🤖 One type of such automation is “updating fields” based on certain actions. We have a checkbox field on Accounts (so we can not use tags) for listing which data sources our leads and clients are using. Based on certain actions, I want to add a data source, e.g. “SQL Server”, to the checkbox field. PROBLEM: Add “SQL Server” with automation removes all other values in the list. Isn’t it possible to add/select values in a checkbox field with automation or mass updating, without wiping out existing selections? If not, are their any other strategy to solve the described challenge?

Hi, I’m using the integration between Salesforce and ActiveCampaign, but the tag “salesforce-lead-converted-to-contact” does not appear in ActiveCampaign when a lead is converted. However, the fields related to the Salesforce Account sync correctly, and I understand that I need to sync a contact properly to ensure the account fields from Salesforce are synced. According to the documentation on this integration, the tag should automatically update when a lead is converted.
For anyone using WordPress I created a tutorial showing how to make your WordPress blog comments powered via chatbot using an entirely open source stack of tools. You setup a conversational bot to solicit comments and then piggyback that with additional qualifying questions to turn these commenters into enriched ActiveCampaign leads. Why would you want to do this? Make the commenting experience more conversational and engaging for your readers Ask predefined questions and learn more about who your readers are and what they want Pipe these leads into AC automatically and segment them based on their answers Post the comment portion of the chat back to WordPress so it’s handled as a standard WP comment and contributes to SEO You can do sophisticated stuff with the LLM nodes and conditional logic in the chat bot but this is a basic tutorial on how set up the most vanilla version end-to-end using all freely available tools. It uses TypeBot, N8n, Google Sheets, WordPress and ActiveCampaign
I have a couple different forms I am trying to build out and it doesn’t appear to be working. Form 1: We wanted to create an internal form for employees to fill out when they need new name blocks or vinyls ordered. I created the form but when it emails me the “results” I get every single field associated with that email address. How do I 1) just get it to email me the results and nothing more and 2) not associate it or add those fields to the contact? Form 2: I really would like to create some trigger based emails. If I build a template and have a form trigger that email it works fine if the email is generic. But if I want the email to pull in information like name or location from the Form, is that possible?
When we send email campaigns we have a jump in users on our website. Our website response time is bad and we’ve even had a 502 error once, within minutes of sending the campaign. Before we invest further in upgrading our website server to accommodate our email campaigns, which is only twice per month right now, I’m wondering if anyone has other ideas? I think the ideal solution is if the email campaign could send over a period of 1-2 hours, so that we won’t see the same user spike. However, I can’t find this functionality in AC. I have seen other email marketing software that will allow you to send emails campaigns in batches over a period of time (example - divide into 10 batches in 5 hours). Any ideas or suggestions?
There needs to be a way to view a contact’s “date created” from their profile page. Currently, the only way to view this information is on the main Contact listing page. However, you cannot single out a single user in this view without it redirecting you to their contact profile page. This is an important bit of information. For example, let’s say a contact purchased a product today. I would like to know how long have they been on my list before making their purchase. I do not have an easy way to find this information. The workaround is to search for a partial of their email address, so that it shows me their row in the main Contact listing without going to their profile. Not ideal
can someone help with our api, we are using zapier to send in the date, First we create the message which is a success, then we create the campaign which is a success, but the campaign is empty in active campaign after created, im having trouble attaching screenshots in here.
