Hello. I am trying to retrieve a segment of contacts via ID using your API. I’ve noticed, though, that the ID of the segment seems to increment. Will the “old” ID continue to yield the same results? Additionally, it seems like the id_greater parameter does not work with the segement endpoint. Is this intended? Thanks
I want to create a form for when people download a guide and allow them to opt in to receive SMS messages. But when I test the form it makes the box required that they have to check it. Does anyone know if there is a way around that? Then based on if they do or do not check the box we could SMS market to them. I am also not making phone number required. Thanks!
Hi everyone, my client is considering the AC CRM, and had some questions about the connected emails feature that I don’t have enough expertise to answer - hoping you can help! Can one user connect multiple email accounts? I see the options for visibility of connected email accounts is: only the user whose email is connected, or, everyone. Is there any middle ground here - i.e. a team of 5 people can all see the emails sent by the people in their team, but not by other teams?
Hello. I have a multiple users and groups in my AC. I have trouble to add multiple group access to one user. I can select only one group to each user. How can i select two group access to one user? Thanks for your help. Iztok

Will I get the monney back that I have paid for additional seat if I decrease a number of seats from 6 to 5 for example? Thanks for your answer. Iztok

We would like to include a link to our most recent newsletter in the automated welcome email we send to subscribers. Is there a way to include a link without having to update the URL each month for the new newsletter?
I want to view which clients received the “a” version of a split test and compare to the “b” version to see if they took action after viewing the email. How do I check this? Why is it so difficult to see which clients received the “a” vs. “b” versions of an email in Active Campaign?
Hi, Can we onboard multiple brands into one instance ? I have an use case where companies i’m in cantact with don’t want to provision an instance or go into yearly contracts for a platform, but would agree to have a few campaigns done a year. I am looking to see whether it’s possible and what limitations are around establishing multiple FROM subdomains (different brands) and their multiple corresponding bounceback subdomains. Yes, I have seen the help center page with onboarding a domain, doing SPF and DKIM for it, but it doesnt speak of limitations. How many such domains could I define ? Our customers would not use the platform themselves, we the agency would execute. When it comes to contacts, I assume I can simply use a fields to assign contacts to the different brands, but is there a better way to compartimentalize this in ActiveCampaign ? Thanks, Codrin
For some reason one of my membership customers subscription date is incorrect and they are coming to the end of it and the automation will be using the wrong date to send out the re-enrollment series. Can we correct that for them on our side?
It would be really useful to be able to automatically delete identified spam contacts from our Active Campaign account. We’ve implemented the double opt-in and reCAPTCHA in all our forms to prevent spam/bot submissions but they still come through.
We currently run one business/website under our ActiveCampaign account, but we’re looking to add a second business with its own website, sending domain, and distinct branding. Our main concern is keeping everything cleanly separated—especially ensuring that email links and URL tags consistently point to the correct domain, and that branding doesn’t get mixed between the two businesses. Is there a best-practice way to manage multiple brands under a single ActiveCampaign account—each with its own sending domain and branding—without causing deliverability or branding issues? Or would it be more straightforward to create a separate ActiveCampaign account for the second business? Would love to hear from others who’ve navigated this!
Hi there, My product’s subscribers have the availability to opt into learning pace reminder emails. This is the question they are presented with: How often do you want to work on your professional development? And the answer options: Daily (weekdays), Weekly, Monthly, or Whenever I can. We are tracking contacts’ “last visit” to the website, and we want to trigger emails based on the amount of time that has lapsed between visits. For example, if I sign up to receive reminder emails based on the “Weekly” preference, if my contact record has NOT visited the site in 7 days, I want to trigger a reminder email to that contact. I see an option to trigger emails based on when a contact DOES visit a site, but I am not seeing an option for when they DO NOT visit a site within a period of time. Has anyone successfully set this up?
I don’t understand why, if I work hard to make a nice block in a landing page (setup columns, and images and text)… why can’t I save that block to be used later? Obviously I probably want to use that formatted element across multiple pages. I can’t seem to copy/paste it to a different landing page either. Do I have to recreate every landing page element from scratch every single time? I know this feature is not asking too much as I’ve had it on other platforms. I know someone is going to say I can make a Template but that doesn’t really help when you have multiple pages at different stages of development. Side note; Asking the AI assistant says it’s not supported, and when I ask where to submit the feature request sends me to some non-existant ideas portal. Or at least it kept sending me in a loop.
The new email reporting looks good, but for Automations I wish I was able to see a table of when emails were sent. As far as I can see, the “Campaign Recipients” report only shows data for people who opened or clicked. Being able to see when emails were sent enables us to easily see peaks/troughs in sending, what kind of daily rate of sending we have, etc.
Stay compliant, build trust, and drive better engagement by using email and SMS lists to ensure contacts receive messages on the channels they prefer. Managing consent and opt-ins just got easier, Here’s what’s new: Subscription management: See who has opted in for SMS and/or Email directly in your contact list, ensuring contacts receive messages on the channels they prefer. Built for compliance: New form action allows contacts to subscribe to SMS via a form with a required consent field to obtain explicit consent. Flexible engagement: Contacts who agree will be added to your SMS list, while keeping their email preferences separate. 💡 Have questions or feedback? Let us know in the comments!

This question was replied to in 2024 (Exclude users from reports) but wanted to see if it has changed. We are looking for a way to exclude employees from campaign reports without excluding them from getting the campaign email itself. Is that possible yet? I tried building a custom report that excluded based on contact domain name but it caused the metrics to increase 1000x over the base report so something is not behaving correctly.

Hi there! I’ve been wanting to check if polls are available in active campaign, for example ina newsletter. I want to know if this is possible and if there’s any template for that already. Comments and suggestions are welcome! Thank you!
I have a modal (pop-up) form on the home page that when submitted, goes to a longer inline form on another page. My question, how do I carry over the email address from one form to the next? In other words, how do I already have the email address filled in on the inline form since the customer has just entered in on the pop-up?
Hi! We are still in the middle of setting AC up and so far it has been fun - and a steep learning curve. Unfortunately, I have just encountered a problem for which I cannot find a solution for - and I hope you can help me. 🙂 As we are based in Europe, double opt-in is a must. Triggering it via a form also works perfectly. However, the problem is that every time a different form is sent, and a different list is subscribed to, the DOI confirmation email is sent again - even if the contact has already given their general consent. Now the question: Is it possible to retrieve the DOI status and only if no consent has been given for this or another list is the DOI mail sent? I have tried it via an automation that triggers via a ‘tag’, which has generally worked. But unfortunately, the confirmation link is not clickable - although it was set correctly in the template (%CONFIRMATIONLINK%). Andtherefor I am back at square one. Cheers and tahnks in advance! M.
Is there somewhere that I can access a pre-recorded version of the CRM training? I am registered to take one, but it is not for 12 days and I would love to get started now.
We are currently using JUST CALL for our group texting through AC but it’s in beta and has been a bad experience for us! What company / app do you know of that will allow us to send, receive and respond to a group text. We have around 50 group texts created monthly and each group is about 3-5 pp. And Each group communicates with each other round table style. Simple Texting does groups but will not allow the group to communicate amongst all parties.
