Date Time Text Field to Date Time Field

I’m able to pass through dynamic variables into text fields:
Text_Field: value
Webinar_Date: Monday, April 21 2025
Webinar_Time: 11:00 AM
User_Timezone: (GMT -4:00) Eastern Time (US and Canada)

Now, in order to use this data in an automation with date/time based actions, I need to convert the text field data to a date/time field.

Does anyone have an easy way to do this?
I’m stuck.

Hey @simplesmartscience as far as I know you would need to use some kind of automation tool like Zapier to do this.

Is the goal that when you send your recipient a webinar confirmation email, it’s already converted to their timezone?
Another way to solve that issue is to use an “Add to Calendar” button using a tool like AddEvent or AddCal

Definitely an external job - can’t be done natively in AC.

My first question is where is that data point coming in, and can you send it in straight to a date or date/time field instead of, or as well as, the text format version.

Text formatted date / times are really great for humans reading email - but not so great for the machine thinking!
