Happy Thursday, Community! On Tactical Tuesday, we discussed the strategy behind "Sender Reputation." Today’s tip is about the easiest way to monitor that health without getting lost in the numbers.Instead of manually auditing every report, you can use Active Intelligence to get an in-depth look at your account’s standing. It’s a great "health check" to run periodically to ensure your list hygiene and sending habits remain in top shape. The AI AuditYou don’t need to be a deliverability expert to spot a trend. By asking the right question, you can let the system scan your recent activity for any red flags that might be flying under the radar. How to do it: Open your Active Intelligence workspace and enter this prompt:"Show me my account's deliverability metrics for the past [time period], including bounce rates, spam complaints, open rates, click rates, unsubscribe rates, total campaigns sent, and any deliverability issues.” What the Audit Reveals (Real Example):When you run this, the sy
Hey everyone, I’m curious how you’re approaching email marketing these days, especially for eCommerce or client projects focused on long-term growth. It feels like basic setups (welcome flow, abandoned cart, a few campaigns) are no longer enough to scale. More brands are moving toward deeper segmentation, behavior-based automation, and full lifecycle marketing. How are you structuring your systems right now?Do you focus more on flows or campaigns? How detailed is your segmentation? Also, at what point do you decide that a setup needs to be rebuilt or significantly improved?I’ve noticed that some brands, instead of trying to fix everything internally, move toward working with a flowium email marketing agency to better structure automation and overall strategy.Would love to hear real strategies and what’s actually working for you in 2026.
Happy Tuesday, Community! You can have the best copy and the most beautiful automations in the world, but if they land in the Promotions tab (or worse, the Spam folder), they aren't doing any work for your business.Today’s tactic is about protecting your "Sender Reputation" so your messages actually reach the people who want them. The Strategy: Quality Over QuantityDeliverability isn't just about technical settings; it’s about engagement signals. Mail providers (like Gmail and Outlook) watch how people react to your emails. If thousands of people ignore you, those providers start hiding your mail. The 3-Step Health Check: Sunset the "Ghosts": Use an automation to identify contacts who haven't opened an email in 60-90 days. If they aren't biting, move them to a "re-engagement" drip or unsubscribe them. A smaller, highly active list reaches more inboxes than a massive, silent one. Monitor Your "Reply" Rate: Positive engagement signals (like a reply) are gold for deliverability. Try end
I’m trying to retreive raw data for each email a contact has been sent. This would result in a large table with millions of rows, since we send millions of emails.I thought that email activities would be the end point that need for this and wrote a python script (below). This ran for a while and when it concluded I had only tens of thousands of rows, not millions as expected.Have I misunderstood what email activities is? How can I retreive send level data per contact_id? One record per instance of an email being sent across any and all campaigns.import requestsimport pandas as pdimport sysif len(sys.argv) < 2: print("Usage: python email_activities.py <API_KEY>") sys.exit(1)API_KEY = sys.argv[1]BASE_URL = "https://<our org name>.api-us1.com/api/3"headers = { "Api-Token": API_KEY, "Accept": "application/json"}all_activities = []offset = 0limit = 100while True: response = requests.get( f"{BASE_URL}/emailActivities", headers=headers, param
Happy Thursday, Community! On Tactical Tuesday, we talked about using Active Intelligence (AI) as a force multiplier to buy back your time. Today, I’m sharing the "hidden gem" that makes that possible: Custom Instructions. If you’ve ever felt like you’re repeating yourself to AI, re-explaining your brand voice, your target audience, or your formatting preferences every single time, this tip is for you. The Hidden Gem: Custom InstructionsThink of Custom Instructions as a permanent "brief" for your AI. Instead of starting every chat from zero, you can set account-level guidelines that Active Intelligence automatically applies to every campaign draft, automation suggestion, and report it creates. The Strategy: You set these instructions once, and the AI "remembers" them for every future interaction. It’s like training a new team member on your brand standards in one afternoon, and they never forget a single detail. What to Include (The "Strategic Three"): Your Brand Persona: Tell it exactly

Hey Community! We’ve just added an Active Intelligence Prompt Library to our Community site, and it got me thinking about the bigger picture: Active Intelligence. We all know the "blank page" struggle. Whether you're building a new customer automation journey or drafting a weekly newsletter, the hardest part is often just getting started. This is where AI moves from being a "cool gadget" to a core business strategy. The Strategy Question:How are you currently leveraging Active Intelligence to buy back your time? Are you using it to summarize long data sets or customer feedback? Are you using it to generate 5 different subject line variations in seconds to see what sticks? Or are you planning on using our new Prompt Library to build out entire campaign frameworks that used to take you all afternoon? The Strategic Win:The goal of AI in your marketing isn't to replace the "human" touch, it's to remove the mechanical friction. By using AI to handle the first draft, the data sorting, o

You Asked. We Delivered. Here's What's Faster, Smoother, and Built Around You. 🚀We've been heads down improving your experience inside the platform, and a lot of it started with your feedback. Here's what's changed. ⚡ Your Campaign Reports Now Load in SecondsFor some of our most active customers, the Campaigns performance report used to take up to 45 seconds to load. We rebuilt it from the ground up. It now loads in under 3 seconds. That's more than 100x faster. Fast data means faster decisions, and you shouldn't have to wait for either. ✏️ Your Email Editor Keeps Up With Your IdeasWe cut average Email Designer load times in half, with more improvements on the way. Across a full workday, that adds up fast. Less waiting means you stay in the creative zone instead of getting pulled out of it every time you open a new email. Fewer interruptions between idea and execution. 🙌 🏎️ A Faster Experience Everywhere You WorkSpeed compounds. That's why we focused on three of the most-used areas
Happy Thursday, Community! On Tactical Tuesday, we talked about the strategy of the post-conversion journey. Today, I want to share a feature that prevents the #1 mistake in automation: sending irrelevant emails to people who have already taken action.Have you ever received a "Reminder: Don't forget to grab the matching [Accessory/Service]!" email... after you already bought it ten minutes ago? It makes the brand look like it isn't paying attention. Using "Jump-To" blocks (formerly known as “Goals”) as a Jump-LinkInstead of making a customer sit through every single email in your "Welcome" series, use a Jump-To block to "teleport" them to the next stage of their journey the moment they complete a milestone. The Strategy: Set a Jump-To block at the end of your onboarding sequence (e.g., "Booked Kickoff Call" or "Made a purchase"). If a customer completes that action on Day 1, the Jump-To block will automatically "teleport" them past all the reminder emails they no longer need and drop th
Obviously I struggle with Views since this is my 2nd question. I would love to sort the reports view (and possible other views) by email. But in a useful manner so they are sorted by domain first and than by the account name. Is this possible ?
Hello, Is there a way to add captcha v3 to a form instead of the captcha challenge? Thank you!
Hey Community! Most marketing energy is spent on the “Lead-to-Client” journey. We spend weeks or months nurturing a prospect, and then...success! They sign the contract or hit the “buy” button. But what happens next?Whether you are shipping a physical product or kicking off a professional service, that “Day 1” experience is where the real relationship begins. Today, we’re talking about the Post-Conversion Strategy and how to turn a new customer into a long-term advocate. The Strategy Question:Once someone officially says “Yes,” how does your communication strategy pivot? For Products: Do you have a sequence that helps them get the most out of their purchase or offers a “Pro-Tip” for using it? For Services: How do you handle the Onboarding phase? Do you have an automated “Welcome” that sets expectations and collects necessary info? For Everyone: How do you ensure they feel supported before you eventually ask for a referral or a second project? The Strategic Win:A strong post-conversion journ
Happy Thursday, Community!Following up on our Tactical Tuesday debate about when to let go of "cold" leads, today’s tip is about how to stop guessing and start automating your visibility into your audience's behavior. The secret to high engagement isn't just better subject lines, it’s ensuring your emails are actually being seen. When you consistently mail contacts who haven't interacted in months, email providers (like Gmail and Outlook) start to flag your content as "low-interest," which can land your most important messages outside of the primary inbox. The Tip: The "Last Engaged Date" Field & “Last Engaged Date” automationInstead of performing manual audits to see who is active, use a simple process to update a custom date field every time a contact interacts with your brand. How to set it up: The Trigger: Use a process triggered by an Email Open or a Link Click. The Action: Use the 'Update a Contact' action to set a custom date field (e.g., "Last Engagement Date") to the 'Curre
Following up on our conversation yesterday about list hygiene, I wanted to dive deeper into a "hidden" profit killer: Data Decay. We often spend hours building the perfect segments in ActiveCampaign, but if the data inside those segments is "dirty" (spam traps, typos, or expired bouncers), your deliverability (and your ROI) takes a hit.I’ve invited our partners at ZeroBounce to share a guest deep-dive on why "Smarter Segmentation Starts With Better Data." Smarter Segmentation Starts With Better DataGuest Post written by ZeroBounceThe difference between emails that convert and emails that get ignored often comes down to one thing: segmentation. With platforms like ActiveCampaign, marketers can build highly dynamic audiences based on behavior, engagement, purchase history, lifecycle stage, and more. But even the most advanced segmentation strategy depends on one critical factor: data accuracy. If the data behind your segments is incomplete, outdated, or invalid, your personalization efforts
Hey Community! For today’s strategy session, we’re talking about List Hygiene. We all know the feeling of watching a contact list grow, but bigger isn't always better. When a lead stops engaging (no opens, no clicks, no replies, etc) they stop being an asset and start becoming a risk to your deliverability. The Strategy Question: When a lead goes cold for 6+ months, what is your personal "Point of No Return"? How do you specifically define a "disengaged" contact? Do you try one last "Break-up" email, or do you move straight to unsubscribing/deleting them? If you don't have a process yet, what's stopping you from starting one? The Impact: Keeping your list clean isn't just about "housekeeping," it’s about ensuring your emails actually land in the inboxes of the people who do want to hear from you.Drop your process in the comments below! Let’s see who has the most ruthless (or most effective) cleanup strategy.
Who agrees we need options for shorter Wait-step times? 5 minutes is too high for some use cases. Go up above to ‘Ideas’ and upvote the idea on allowing Wait-times in seconds. This way you can wait maybe 5, 10 or 30 seconds...even 1 or 2 minutes. Whatever your use-case calls for.
Happy Thursday! We’re continuing our personalization theme today by talking about default field values.Ever sent a campaign with a personalization tag, only to realize some contacts didn't have that info on file? Without a default value, tags like %FIRSTNAME% just leave a blank space. By setting a default, you can choose exactly what appears instead (like "Hi there" or "Hi Rockstar").It’s a total game changer for keeping your brand voice consistent, even with a partial database.Have you taken advantage of default field values yet? If so, share your best use-case in the comments and help inspire others! Learn more about default field values and how to get them set up by visiting the Help Center article:https://help.activecampaign.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001060664-How-to-add-a-default-value-to-a-personalization-tag
