Happy Thursday, Community!

On Tactical Tuesday, we discussed the strategy behind "Sender Reputation." Today’s tip is about the easiest way to monitor that health without getting lost in the numbers.

Instead of manually auditing every report, you can use Active Intelligence to get an in-depth look at your account’s standing. It’s a great "health check" to run periodically to ensure your list hygiene and sending habits remain in top shape.

The AI Audit

You don’t need to be a deliverability expert to spot a trend. By asking the right question, you can let the system scan your recent activity for any red flags that might be flying under the radar.

How to do it: Open your Active Intelligence workspace and enter this prompt:

"Show me my account's deliverability metrics for the past [time period], including bounce rates, spam complaints, open rates, click rates, unsubscribe rates, total campaigns sent, and any deliverability issues.”

What the Audit Reveals (Real Example):

When you run this, the system looks at the data from the specified time period to find trends you might have missed. Here’s an example of what it looks for:

  • Performance Metrics: It aggregates your open, click, and bounce rates into a single view.

  • Critical Alerts: It flags issues like a High Bounce Rate (e.g., if your rate is well above the 2% industry standard).

  • Anomalies: It identifies specific dates where things went wrong, such as a "Peak bounce event" that needs investigating.

  • Direct Recommendations: It gives you a checklist, such as verifying your SPF/DKIM settings or cleaning outdated email addresses.

The Tactical Win:

You don't need to do this every day. Running this audit once a month or once a quarter is a low-effort way to stay proactive. It ensures that your account remains in good standing so your emails actually reach your customers when it matters most.

Quick Question: When was the last time you took a "pulse check" on your bounce rates or list health?
