1. Creative Use Case: Our unique approach to utilizing ActiveCampaign pop-up forms has transformed our lead generation process. By implementing these forms on our product pages, we’ve streamlined the inquiry process and gained valuable insights into customer preferences. 2. Problem Description: Before integrating ActiveCampaign pop-up forms, we faced a challenge with potential customers being deterred from contacting us due to the heavy emphasis on phone calls for inquiries. This led to missed opportunities for engagement and conversions as customers preferred email or text communication. 3. Detailed Solution: To address this challenge, we turned to ActiveCampaign’s pop-up forms feature. We created customized forms tailored to each product page, prompting visitors to provide their contact information for more information or a quote. This shift in approach allowed us to capture leads who preferred email or text communication, thus expanding our reach and engagement opportunities. 4. Ste
Our previous event registration platform went kapoot, and we didn’t like the platforms that integrate with ActiveCampaign, so we decided to see if we could just use ActiveCampaign directly. Step 1: Create the Form We created the form directly in ActiveCampaign. It’s a rather long form, so we actually created a page 1 and a page 2. You can’t directly create a two-page form, but ActiveCampaign lets you direct people anywhere after they fill out a form. So after they fill out Form/Page 1, you redirect them to Form/Page 2. This allowed us to gather all the information we needed relatively easily! Step 2: Automate Tagging After someone fills out page 2, they’re automatically tagged as registered for that event and receive a registration confirmation email. This tag allows us to easily remove registrants from future emails asking people to sign up (because they already did!) and create a segment for emails specifically for registrants. So, for example, they no longer get sign-up emails, but
ActiveCampaign is great. It’s an open sandbox that has allowed us to stretch it’s use in pretty unique ways. Our sales agreements are made in Google Sheets. We then have a code written in the Sheets script editor that sends all sales agreements to a single Google Sheet called our “Quote Report”. Whenever a new row is updated or added to this Sheet, Zapier watches for this and sends the information to ActiveCampaign. This is one of the ways we get customer information into ActiveCampaign. Once there, the customer goes into a number of automations depending on the stage they are at. If they are quoted but not yet closed, they will go into a series of drip emails and SMS. If they are closed/sold, they will receive a series of emails and SMS preparing them for the delivery of their spa and educating them on spa ownership. Depending on the spa size and specification, we have automations that watch for these that then add the appropriate tags. These tags trigger automations that help us aut
We recently uncovered an issue in regards to some of our opt-ins: when clients have marked an email as spam, they are added to a Support Level exclusion list. If they opt back in at a later time, they are not automatically removed from said list, leading to them not receiving campaigns, nor order/event confirmations. Unless the client in question personally reaches out to us there’s no way of knowing they’re: having issues with receiving our campaigns and on the AC internal Exclusion List (you can only look up your own personal account Exclusion List). For them to be removed, we have to contact AC’s Customer Support team and offer proof of their desire to be resubscribed (which, again, is only possible if they take the effort to let us know about the issue). This flow should be corrected to following the same process as when someone unsubscribes: if the client resubscribes at a later time, that should automatically confirm their desire to receive our campaigns and remove them from th
Can tags created in AC be shared via integration with the Searchie platform? And until the Stripe payment form can be integrated in AC forms, can a tag created in Stripe be shared to the contact’s data in AC?

Hi, I have no problem adding custom Fields to deals and creating groups and arrange the custom fields. But what I would need right now is to re-arrange them in between the standard fields in a) the add new deal form b) the deal itself. E.G. our deal value has more than just the normal value, so I would like to add my custom field right next to the deal vcalue field so that they are alwaysw shown together and also can be filled out when adding a deal. I did not find anything about how to do that. Any hints?
Contacts complete an integrated website form and are added to a list. The contacts on the list are sent an automation email. The email content is updated frequently and the contacts are to be sent the newly updated email. New contacts are also being added to the list. My dilemma is finding a solution to recycle the old contacts in the automation. Is the best option for me to edit the automation email and then re-enter the pre-existing contacts (those created before the update) through the same automation? How do I re-enter a list of contacts after the email update has been made in the automation? Hoping for a quick method here. Thanks in advance. UPDATE: I see that I can bulk edit a list and add a tag or enter into automation. Are one of these the better option for my scenario?

Hello, we have a newsletter subscription form and from time to time people already subscribed tries to subscribe again (for example because they forgot to be already subscribed) and the automation we have for new subscribers is not triggered (the automation contains info we would like to be sent anytime one tries to (re)subscribe). Is there a way to trigger an automation dedicated to people already subscribed? I have not found any so far. Any help is very appreciated, Cesare

I´ve been having a lot of issues in AC, I recently hired the service and it has gone downhill fast. First: My autommations are not working, they do not suscribe to the lists I programmed them to, they don´t gather the information from Meta Forms and now even the information is missing in the contact itself, even tho I have everything the same, it literally changed the next day everything is a dissaster. Second: I have asked for help to support and never have they helped me, I have fixed everything myself until this point were there is nothing I can do. Does the AC system has been presenting general issues or has the assist to beginners just does not teach good?
Hey everyone, first post here. I’m using mail-tester.com to learn how to improve my deliverability, and it’s reccomending that I make the HTML and the text-only email match better to improve deliverablility. Its saying “Message only has html MIME parts” and that I should include a plain text version of the email in addition to the HTML email. Anyone know how to view the text only version of the email and/or make them match closer? I want to add this to the ideas page but it’s not letting me in past the login screen, so something like comparing the HTML and text-only email would be a helpful feature.

I want to populate a custom Deal field based on which pageview brought someone into the automation. Example: User visited mysite.com/products/shirt Deal gets created. “Product” field in Deal gets populated with “Shirt” Seems easy enough, but I don’t see a way to retrieve the value of the page that triggered the automation. I can see whether a visitor HAS viewed mysite.com/products/shirt at any point, but not whether that’s what they visited just now. The brute force method would be to create a separate automation for every product, but that would get unwieldy. I’m fairly new to AC, but I am comfortable with Google Tag Manager and Javascript, so if there’s a way to do this other than inside of the automation itself—perhaps via the API—I might be able to do that instead.
I don’t know how to do that, I need the fields API code by attachment.
Hello, I have tried to run the API for the tracking logs for a particular contact ID. It retrieves nothing even though 444 events exists for them. If I go to that contact within Active Campaign and the users window to see the activity on the right hand side and then run the retrieve for the tracking logs, they download.
Is it possible to have a subject be based on a variable for the contact? I want to detect if someone is a Spanish speaker and have that use a Spanish subject, while using an English subject for everyone else. The content is not an issue, just the subject.
