Hello, I have an automation with 20 or more emails that sends over a few months. Some of the emails are the legacy designer, some are the new design. I’m making some updates to style and would like to use the saved modules so I don’t have to recreate sections multiple times. Is it possible to convert the legacy designer emails into the new designer so I can use those saved modules? Or is it a manual conversion? Was just hoping I could toggle an option to move it over. Thanks!
Hello friends! The following example in a GET request call, helps me to see list(s) associated to a contact, as well as basic contact information, all by their email address. https://<account name>/api/3/contacts?include=contactLists&filters[email]=<email address> …But if I want to update the ‘status’ value of a list item that is associated to this contact, what would be a good API example for a POST request to change status to 2, for list id 123456? Does this API call only occur one at a time, or can I set multiple list items to a status value of “2”, in a single API POST request? If so how? Many thanks!
Hello! I have a large list of contacts that need to have a contact field updated from “Active” to “Cancelled”. I was planning on creating an automation to change the contact field, but there are not a good set of triggers that will include everyone I need. I tried to use a list to import all the contacts I need, but the list won’t always import all the contacts even if it says it did. Is there a way to add a tag to a list of emails?
I want to create a field with the different countries of the world and when selecting a country allow to display the list of cities in that country, is there any way to do this directly in the forms with custom fields?
How can I add a group of contacts in bulk to another list?
I am trying to retrieve data from custom reports, but I’m unable to pinpoint the reason why. Any tips or suggestions?
My leads from FB to ActiveCampaign via the Facebook Lead Ads app in ActiveCampaign have stopped working over the past 48 hours. I’ve tried reconnecting, but it still doesn’t work. Could this be due to the Crowdstrike issue? If not, do any other suggestions for troubleshooting it?
We have noticed that some of our customers use email protection solutions such as Mailinblack. As a result, the emails we send are sometimes blocked for recipients who have not yet authenticated our domain. Normally, when an email is considered potentially unwanted, the system would automatically send us a validation email to the configured reply address. This would allow us to reply and authenticate the message so that it would no longer be marked as spam and would reach our customers’ inboxes. However, we haven’t received these validation emails on our reply address. Is this authentication feature handled correctly by Activ Campaign? Are emails sent to customers using mail protection solutions blocked by their mailboxes anti-spam/network filters?
I just realized that non of my non-automation campaigns have sent since 7/2. Luckily I haven’t sent out a ton but now that I realize my clients haven’t been getting the emails I’m sending it’s very frustrating. My automation emails are still working though. I have been using AC for over a year now and I’m not doing anything differently than I ever have been. I also took a Loom recording of me sending the Campaign and the screen telling me it was sent. But not looking back all of my emails since 7/2 as listed as “draft” with nothing in the “Reports” tab. Is anyone else having this issue? Or have any idea what can be going on?
Hello, I’ve been looking over the Active Campaign API Documentation, but I’m having trouble finding a good example of how to make requests to… Subscribe or unsubscribe a user from a single subscription. Unsubscribe a user from All of their current subscriptions. As for the first bullet above, is the documentation section on " Update list status for a contact" A good example to either subscribe or unsubscribe a user from a specific subscription? If so, can someone tell me what the source-id in that example represents? As for the second bullet, is their a similar process, to unsubscribe the user from “all” of their current subscriptions? The only other questions I have… Should I be making “Post” requests with “Sync” to do this process? Many thanks on the learning tips!
It seems to me, or I have some mistake with the statistics on clicks on my companies. I always send out my companies on two lists, A and B. Before, the number of clicks was always about the same. But for the last time I’ve been observing the same picture: from 30 to 40 clicks on list A and from 3 to 9 on list B. Can you tell me if it could be a bug? Or some other reason?
Hello, I have started an old automation up again and notice that my new contacts are progressing through the automation and sitting in the queues which is great. The problem I am having is that my old contacts are also sitting in the queues. I’m not sure why they are sitting in the queues in the first place. How can I refresh the queues to only show the new contacts?
The final email in my re-engagement automation is an “Is this Goodbye” email. I highlight the benefits of remaining on my list and invite them to stay on my list by either clicking a link or button. My question is, how do I structure the button to give a “thank you” message? Thanks, Therese
Is there a personlization tag for the day of the week so we can show that in a text block?
I downloaded the lastest Active campaign app on android on a pixel 8 phone. However the activitys tab is blank for all contacts. Even if they have activity. The tab works on Ios just fine however it doesn’t display anything on android. Is this a bug?
I have a problem that I can’t solve. We have several lead magnets on our site. As soon as a customer fills out a form (which is done via Active Campaign), the automation is triggered and they start receiving a pre-made email chain (with a lead magnet, welcome message, etc). The problem is that some clients fill out several forms and receive several leadmagnets at once, but the automation is triggered several times. Thus, the person starts to receive several chains of emails at once. Here’s the question: How can I set it up so that the automated chain of messages goes only to the first lead magnet, the form for which the person has filled out?
I got an email in the mail, about AI Campaign Calendar, but no way to find where to use this feature?
I CANNOT create any new segments today. Please help!
I use Google sheets to provide dashboards for my admins. It works fine except for one field. There is a custom field called “Membership” in both AC and Google. I’ve checked to make sure there isn’t a typo on the Google sheets. There is data in the AC field. I have it mapped using the CX-Google Sheets. All other fields in the mapping are working correctly except for this one field. What should I look for? Thanks, Holly Henry (KYGYW)
For some context, we use the form for B2B website. Recently, we’ve been having a lot of spams i.e. emails from people promoting something. I saw this from Hubspot where you can’t enter personal email like gmail and yahoo. Is there a way to do this? I can’t seem to find the option to exclude specific email domains in the email field.
I sent out an email test for a campaign that was suppose to send out another email when someone replied but i did not. the automation was active. is it because it was a test email?
Hey all - Looking to get some insight. I work in a marketing department with 8 people. Normally when I send a test email to myself I will forward it onto my department to review and check the links, space, spelling, etc, within the email. Well we noticed that when the test email was forwarded the whole format of the email would get messed up and so I would have to go back into the campaign design and fix the formatting. The other day I sent a campaign to 5 people in my department and they were seeing the email with no issues with the formatting, but once it was forwarding onto others, it was messed up. Has anyone else experienced this? Secondly, if the contact who receives the campaign decides to forward the campaign onto their boss, would the email formatting get messed up like it does when we test it?
Hello, Since the implementation of Google Analytics, I would like to know how to track the submission of an ActiveCampaign form directly in GA4, in order to detect it as a conversion. How can this be done? Do we need to add a piece of code to the form to track this, or is there a specific manipulation required? Thank you!
Hello! I’m struggling to find links to old campaigns. Once a campaign is more than 20 old, it no longer appears in the campaign archive. I can see about 20 per email list… but I need to uncover some older ones. Any suggestions please? Thanks in advance 🙏
I’m making my first form on AC. One of the questions is a dropdown ‘list selector’ but I don’t see any way to tell it what the valid dropdown options are. It’s filling in with a default value of the name of my client list but that’s not what I want. How do I change it?
