Tag added to a group of contacts not related to each other

Hello! I have a large list of contacts that need to have a contact field updated from “Active” to “Cancelled”. I was planning on creating an automation to change the contact field, but there are not a good set of triggers that will include everyone I need. I tried to use a list to import all the contacts I need, but the list won’t always import all the contacts even if it says it did. Is there a way to add a tag to a list of emails?

Hi @fppathfinder1 , you can use an Advanced Search to filter your contacts, and then use the “Edit All” button to bulk update their custom field.

    Thank you! That helps for a good portion of the contacts. Someone also just suggested to me in person that I upload my contact list again (even though they are already in my contact list) and add a tag during the uploaded.
