Hello. I have a question for you. I created a couple of lists and approx 15 different fields. I would like to arrange my lists with a diferent fields. Example: In list A I would like to place a fields number 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, in a list B I would like to place a fields number 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and in list C I would like to place a fields number 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. I customized the field options (attached pic 1) and selected in which list should a certain field be available. But when I open the list and select a fields which I want to be shown in a certain list, the changes are also reflected in all other lists (attached pic 2). Please help me or guide me to solve my problem. Thanks for your help, Iztok
Can change or transfer current owner account to another account?
Hi, i’ve been trying to search for an answer on this and have been unable to find anything. I want to see if there’s an easy way to check who is opening my emails and an active subscriber to my email list and remove those that aren’t. I don’t have tags set up, I’m assuming that I need to do this?
I want to send out unique login details for a newly launched platform to my contacts, which is in the form of a link. A link has been created for each contact on the list. However, I’m not sure if there’s a way to bulk upload these links and create a personalisation tag, so that each email recipient will get the right link inserted in the body of the email? Can anyone advise me?
I’m setting up and testing custom webhooks inside automations for the purpose of integrating with some 3rd party systems — lead distribution, conditional S2S postbacks, etc. For this, I’m using custom parameters along with AC personalization tags in the webhook URL as a means to push the data in a more convenient and flexible way compared to parsing that data from the contact form data / custom field formats that are sent with the webhook. e.g. ?contact_ID=%SUBSCRIBERID%&fName=%FIRSTNAME%&email_status=%EMAIL_VALIDATION_RESULT%&src=automation_hook But! Since today/yesterday it’s no longer possible to save the webhook URL with pers. tags as it returns an invalid URL warning. The catch is, I was in touch with AC support for another related issue (account-level webhooks), and there was no mention of support for pers. tags in webhook URLs being removed. 😩 Was this change intentional, or there’s some issue?
I have an automation that is triggered by the filling of ‘any Form’, and when someone fills the form, they go indeed through the automation, but the confirmation mail seems to not sent out. I tested it by filling the form with a personal email address. What might be going wrong? Second part to this question. If the contact is not a new contact, but is already registered into my activecampaign contacts, the notification email doesn’t seem to send out either. What might be going wrong there? The form is a contact form, so it is important that we get the notification everytime it is filled, and not just the first time a contact fills a form. FYI the automation trigger is set to run ‘multiple times’. Thanks for helping me out.
Hey all. I’ve set up an automation for peple who opt in into an email list. If they reply back to an email they would receive an automated email that seems to be working. Second in the email there is a link Deep Breath Coaching & Breathwork with Karla Snow When they click on it I want an email to be send immediately to them or within few minutes to give active campaign the time to capture the data. And for those who didn’t click on it I want them to receive the email in 2 days I’ve set the if/else condition for that and it’s not working since I tested it with multiple contacts. Since they go straight to the no path I’ve set dozen of automations but never faced this issue before. It’s URGENT so any help will be appreciated
It’s easy peasy to start an automation based on a triggered event. But how do I use another triggered event in a goal (condition)!? We have an automation for failed payments, starting by an event. But we have a separate event for restored payment, which I want to include in a goal in the automation. That works well, the first time the payment is restored. But I can’t find a way how to distinguish an event happen while in the automation. For now I have solved that in a very clunky way with a custom field being set to 0 when the automation starts. Then I have a separate automation that adds +1 to that fields. And finally a condition in the goal of the first automation for this custom even being equal to 1. It becomes very messy pretty fast with multiple similar automations. Please advice!
Hey! I’ve got an unsubscribe automation that was unsubbing anyone who didn’t open or click within 3 months. I want to be able to see the list of anyone who didn’t actively unsubscribe, but who was unsubscribed by the automation ‘unsubscribe from all lists’ action. Is there a way? Thank you!
The examples given in the document for Update list status for a contact provide great learning points. But to go beyond that current source, is there a way we can modify the body of that POST request to update multiple lists at once? If so what would the JSON syntax look like? Many thanks for the learning point!
Hello, I have an automation with 20 or more emails that sends over a few months. Some of the emails are the legacy designer, some are the new design. I’m making some updates to style and would like to use the saved modules so I don’t have to recreate sections multiple times. Is it possible to convert the legacy designer emails into the new designer so I can use those saved modules? Or is it a manual conversion? Was just hoping I could toggle an option to move it over. Thanks!
Hello friends! The following example in a GET request call, helps me to see list(s) associated to a contact, as well as basic contact information, all by their email address. https://<account name>/api/3/contacts?include=contactLists&filters[email]=<email address> …But if I want to update the ‘status’ value of a list item that is associated to this contact, what would be a good API example for a POST request to change status to 2, for list id 123456? Does this API call only occur one at a time, or can I set multiple list items to a status value of “2”, in a single API POST request? If so how? Many thanks!
Hello! I have a large list of contacts that need to have a contact field updated from “Active” to “Cancelled”. I was planning on creating an automation to change the contact field, but there are not a good set of triggers that will include everyone I need. I tried to use a list to import all the contacts I need, but the list won’t always import all the contacts even if it says it did. Is there a way to add a tag to a list of emails?
I want to create a field with the different countries of the world and when selecting a country allow to display the list of cities in that country, is there any way to do this directly in the forms with custom fields?
How can I add a group of contacts in bulk to another list?
I am trying to retrieve data from custom reports, but I’m unable to pinpoint the reason why. Any tips or suggestions?

My leads from FB to ActiveCampaign via the Facebook Lead Ads app in ActiveCampaign have stopped working over the past 48 hours. I’ve tried reconnecting, but it still doesn’t work. Could this be due to the Crowdstrike issue? If not, do any other suggestions for troubleshooting it?

We have noticed that some of our customers use email protection solutions such as Mailinblack. As a result, the emails we send are sometimes blocked for recipients who have not yet authenticated our domain. Normally, when an email is considered potentially unwanted, the system would automatically send us a validation email to the configured reply address. This would allow us to reply and authenticate the message so that it would no longer be marked as spam and would reach our customers’ inboxes. However, we haven’t received these validation emails on our reply address. Is this authentication feature handled correctly by Activ Campaign? Are emails sent to customers using mail protection solutions blocked by their mailboxes anti-spam/network filters?
I just realized that non of my non-automation campaigns have sent since 7/2. Luckily I haven’t sent out a ton but now that I realize my clients haven’t been getting the emails I’m sending it’s very frustrating. My automation emails are still working though. I have been using AC for over a year now and I’m not doing anything differently than I ever have been. I also took a Loom recording of me sending the Campaign and the screen telling me it was sent. But not looking back all of my emails since 7/2 as listed as “draft” with nothing in the “Reports” tab. Is anyone else having this issue? Or have any idea what can be going on?
Hello, I’ve been looking over the Active Campaign API Documentation, but I’m having trouble finding a good example of how to make requests to… Subscribe or unsubscribe a user from a single subscription. Unsubscribe a user from All of their current subscriptions. As for the first bullet above, is the documentation section on " Update list status for a contact" A good example to either subscribe or unsubscribe a user from a specific subscription? If so, can someone tell me what the source-id in that example represents? As for the second bullet, is their a similar process, to unsubscribe the user from “all” of their current subscriptions? The only other questions I have… Should I be making “Post” requests with “Sync” to do this process? Many thanks on the learning tips!
It seems to me, or I have some mistake with the statistics on clicks on my companies. I always send out my companies on two lists, A and B. Before, the number of clicks was always about the same. But for the last time I’ve been observing the same picture: from 30 to 40 clicks on list A and from 3 to 9 on list B. Can you tell me if it could be a bug? Or some other reason?
Hello, I have started an old automation up again and notice that my new contacts are progressing through the automation and sitting in the queues which is great. The problem I am having is that my old contacts are also sitting in the queues. I’m not sure why they are sitting in the queues in the first place. How can I refresh the queues to only show the new contacts?
The final email in my re-engagement automation is an “Is this Goodbye” email. I highlight the benefits of remaining on my list and invite them to stay on my list by either clicking a link or button. My question is, how do I structure the button to give a “thank you” message? Thanks, Therese
