Hello, I am currently experiencing an issue where I can only send test emails to my own email address but cannot send them to any other recipients. My account is set up with the proper SPF and DKIM records, and I have confirmed that my domain is not listed on any blacklists. Despite this, I’m facing difficulties sending emails beyond my own inbox. Here are the details: SPF record: v=spf1 a mx include:spf.titan.email include:emsd1.com ~all DKIM records are set up correctly. I have verified my domain authentication in ActiveCampaign. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or can suggest troubleshooting steps to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Looking to get better results from your emails? A/B testing (also known as “split testing”) is one of the easiest ways to fine-tune your campaigns and see what really works for your audience. Whether you’re tweaking subject lines, content, CTAs, or images, A/B testing lets you try different options and see which one gets the best response. Why You Should Care About A/B Testing: 💡 Better Engagement: By testing different versions, you can find out what clicks with your audience, which means more opens, clicks, and conversions. 📈 Make Smarter Decisions: Forget the guesswork. A/B testing lets you base your decisions on actual results. 🔄 Keep Improving: A/B testing isn’t a one-time thing. It’s a way to constantly learn and make your campaigns better over time. How to Get Started: Click Campaigns > Create a new campaign. Type the name of your campaign into the field provided. Only account users can see this campaign name. Click the “Split testing” option, then cl
I’ve looked everywhere, and I can’t seem to figure out how to add a logo to my email signature using HTML. Most images are JPG or PNG. First, how do you convert, and second, how do you add it in the signature area? Your support is appreciated
You can create a notification that will send when a contact submits your form. In this notification, you can select who should receive it, and you can customize the message. Receive a notification with a Form action This notification is configured on the form level. A notification will be sent to the email address you specify. From your ActiveCampaign account, navigate to Website > Forms. Click “Edit” for the form you want to modify. The form builder will load. All editing and style options will appear on the right pane. Click the “Options” tab. Locate the “Form Action” box, then click the “Add an action” button. A modal window will appear. Click the “Action” dropdown then click the “Email Results” option. Complete the Email Results fields then click the “Add” button. Receive a notification from an Automation action You can trigger an automation to run when a contact submits your form. If the double opt-in is enabled for your form, you will not receive this notification until the
Is there a way to do a one-way sync in ActiveCampaign with Salesforce? Basically, I do not want ActiveCampaign to edit Salesforce, but ActiveCampaign can be edited by Salesforce. And I also do not want ActiveCampaign to send back data to Salesforce. Is that possible?
While Gmail’s Promotions tab is nothing to fear, many marketers still aim to land in the Primary inbox. Here’s how you can increase your chances: Send Engaging, Valuable Content: The best thing you can do is send engaging, well-timed, valuable content to a clean list of contacts who want to receive it. If these users really want to receive your messages, Gmail will notice this and place your emails in the appropriate tab. Personalize Your Emails: Use automations, dynamic content, and segmentation to tailor emails to individual preferences, making them feel more personal and less “promotional.” Minimize Promotional Language: Keep your messaging focused on value, and avoid using phrases that scream “sales” (e.g., “limited-time offer,” “buy now,” etc.). Keep It Simple: Try sending text-based emails, as they tend to perform better in the Primary inbox. Avoid too many images or heavy branding. Encourage Users to Disable the Promotions Tab: You can ask subscribers to move your emai
Hi, Not sure if I am posting my question in the correct place, so please redirect me if not. I have an automation which sends out 1:to:1 emails. The automation automatically adds the deal owners signature. Within that deal owners signature there are links. None of these links are being tracked in these automated 1:to:1 emails. When I send a manual 1:to:1 email from the contact page, which adds the same signature automatically, the link tracking is working fine. The automated 1:to:1 emails do have link tracking enabled. It seems like automated 1:to:1 emails where the signature is added through personalisation ignores link tracking within the signature… Anyone else come across this issue? Thanks, Darren
🎉 It’s party time ActiveCampaign people - calendar dates in waits, goals and if/else steps for automations are rolling out to accounts as we speak! 🎉 New wait goals & if/else dates handling is due to be live in all accounts by end 30th Jan This is THE big feature shift AC users have been waiting on… and it’s BIGGER and BETTER than even I expected. More to come on this soon from me, so stay tuned. So excited, for real - this is a game-changer for anyone automating events, waitlists, offers etc - anything working off a specific calendar date just got massively easy to automate in ActiveCampaign. BIG kudos to the AC product teams who have worked long & hard to bring this to life in a way that truly serves users - thank you!
Hi there. I set up my sending domain successfully as it is authenticated in the system. I have noticed that when I login it tells me that I should update my Work Email because I am using a public domain like gmail. However, when I go to Settings → Advanced → Domains I can see that my domain has been authenticated. Further, when testing my automations through active campaign I see that I am sending through my sending domain that has been authenticated on Active Campaign. Is there some setting I am missing?
I have an all text campaign that starts with two texts, waits, sends another, waits, sends a final text. When it starts, only the second of the first two texts actually sends. I added a wait between the two but still only the second one goes. what am I missing?
I have created an automation which includes and IF/Else to be activated when a link is clicked from an email. But when I tested it, it didn’t work. I managed to get tags to work in the automation but not the click on link. I tried doing this with a WAIT instead, but that didnt work either. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I tried uploading a png, jpg and gif but it wouldn’t let me it is only 34kb so I cant show you what I did! Assitance on adding an image would be helpful. Thanks Judith
A frequently used campaign disappeared. It is not in archive area. I can’t even find it in contacts that I know have previously received. Anyone know how to get help restoring?
I keep getting the message “There was an error loading your campaigns” when trying to load my campaign page. Does anyone know how to resolve this error?
4 weeks ago, I set up three automations using date-based “Current Date” Goals to send reminders on specific dates (between Jan 13 and February 18). Most people received the first reminder at Goal Jan 13, and are waiting at the February 4 Goal. The automations functioned normally. However, today at 18:00 CET, everyone waiting at that goal skipped all intermediate steps and jumped directly to the last Goal at February 18. As a result, incorrect reminder emails were sent. Has anyone else experienced this issue today? Very confused now since they just introduced the new Current Date reformat and not sure that has anything to do with this issue.
Hello! Need some help because I have been struggling with this. I automate quotes after a prospecting customer shares their information via my website. An automation is triggered with a specific email template and then the prospect is put into a deal stage. Problem: The prospect replies to the email but I can only reply once within the deal email. Question: What settings or limits does AC have that I have not adjusted in order to reply more than once to the prospect inside deal emails? Context: After the prospect replies a second time, a new email chain is created automatically IE Re:Re in the email subject line. Not sure if this has something to do with unable to email back because it is a different email chain. Greatly appreciated !
I want to use the Postmark integration to send transactional emails with dynamic content. I have built a template with AC’s email builder and included an HTML block. I have also built an automation that will send transactional emails with the Postmark integration - Send a transactional email. How do I use an API call to place HTML code (which contains order data) in the HTML block in my template. Is this possible?
Hi ActiveCampaign Community! I’m looking for some advice on how others in healthcare, particularly in mental health clinics, are creating or using lead generation forms or tracking conversions from marketing initiatives while remaining HIPAA compliant. We want to ensure our marketing efforts are effectively tracked, but patient privacy is, of course, a top priority. Any tips or best practices for this in healthcare would be greatly appreciated! (*side note: We’re currently using blog and newsletter sign-up forms, have connected our Eventbrite events to ActiveCampaign, and are about to publish lead gen quizzes on our website.)
We generate leads from social media using AC Forms. The leads need to be called by our call setters. It is easy enough to create tasks for deals in the pipeline but AC does not seem to have any tools to track call outcomes (talked to, voicemail, bad number, etc.). Am I missing something?
Have tried to set this up but Teams gives a badRequest error and compains about the format of the A/C data (schema). Using a Microsoft Webhook from a Workflow, and post to it based on an AC Automation. Has anyone managed to send data from Deals to Microsoft Teams?
Hello! When a customer replies to an automated email, Re: comes in the subject line. With every reply back and for and additional Re: gets added, ie Re: Re: Re: after 3 replies. Is there a way to not add Re: in the subject line? Thank you
Hi Community, I am seeking a solution to implement a qualifying playbook at the contact or deal level within our CRM, similar to the “Playbooks” feature in HubSpot. This playbook should guide our sales team through a series of standardized questions and ensure these questions are answered before advancing a lead through the sales funnel. Objectives: Standardization: Ensure our sales team consistently asks the right qualifying questions. Documentation: Have these questions and answers documented within the contact or deal record. Efficiency: Streamline the qualification process to improve lead management and conversion rates. So my questions are: Are there any integrations available that can provide this functionality? Would using custom objects within our CRM be a viable option to achieve this? Thank you for your assistance!
What’s the one email metric you always check? Clicks? Opens? Or is it List Size 😉 Here’s the thing: Unsubscribes might not be the disaster you think they are, and that old friend, your list size? Bigger isn’t always better. I shared the metrics that really matter in email marketing with Amanda Webb’s listeners in That Analytics Show. Hi, the docs says “Our API has a rate limit of 5 requests per second per account.” What is meant by ‘account’? I have been testing with a single key, and I am not experiencing any rate limiting when I do testing. I am although not sure if I can rely on that for production. Any guidance on this? The api response also does not provide any related headers in this regards
A contact who just arrived in a database is more engaged than “old” contacts, so take this opportunity to continue the relationship with those contacts with a welcome email! Here are a few tips: Use our recipes to save time here. Present your products, services, values— all that define your company. Push useful links into your email for your contacts. Set up a series of welcome emails to onboard the contact. Use an incentive in your email (trial period, promotional code) to increase conversion!
Hello, I have the following question about displaying conditional content in a newsletter automation in Active Campaign: is it possible to display different conditional items depending on the buyed products (product name or tag)? I’ve read, that using the “Makes a Purchase” trigger basically helps me to deal with this. The goal is to simultaneously show different, product-related links to PDF files as downloads in one mailing, depending on the product(s) the lead has purchased. This also means that different links (download buttons) should be displayed in this specific mailing for different products. Is this possible with “Using conditional content”?
