Trigger automation before double opt-in confirmation

Hi,
I’d like to know if there’s any way to trigger an automation when a user is added into a contact list with double opt-in.

I tried all the options I could think of, but then in https://help.activecampaign.com/hc/en-us/articles/218788707-Automation-triggers-explained I learnt that they are not valid under double opt-in, until the email has been confirmed.

I’d like to track form submissions which don’t get verified, to try recover all lost leads.

Is there any way to achieve it?

Hi Marc, you could try using the “Contact Field Changes” trigger, set to trigger whenever their email address is updated. I think from previous experience this will also trigger for new contacts.
