I'll admit something. I spent months writing increasingly elaborate prompts before a customer story stopped me cold. Adam Cain at ElectricityRates.com built a working customer-scoring system by opening with the flattest prompt you could imagine: "Just have at this and tell us what you think."
He fed Gemini the raw data first, let it surface patterns his team hadn't thought to look for, and only then did he start layering in business rules (contract-end date under 60 days, available savings above 7%). His actual quote: "Don't go and ask AI for specific things. If you have a data set, just upload it."
