Hello Active Campaign,

Wouldn’t it be great if you added an eyedropper to the Custom Color Pop-up field?

It would help me significantly building campaign templates.

Please see what you can do.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, here is a link to an example of what they provide you in Mailchimp in comparison to what Active Campaign currently has:

Hi there! That does sound more like a UI issue than a browser issue, especially since you’ve already tested different browsers, computers, and zoom levels.

A couple of things to check:

  • Make sure you’re on the main Contacts overview page and not inside a saved segment or individual contact record.

  • On some accounts, the search experience has moved into the newer Advanced Search area, so look for the search field below “Find the contacts you need” rather than only in the old top-right location.

If it briefly appears and then disappears on load across multiple environments, I’d treat that as something Support should investigate on the account itself. I’ve seen cases where the Contacts page search/Advanced Search control was missing due to account UI state rather than anything local.

So yes, based on what you described, opening a support ticket is probably the right next step!

Good idea—an eyedropper/color picker in the custom color field would make template design much faster and more consistent, especially for brand work.

Right now it’s a bit manual compared to tools like Mailchimp, so this would be a nice UX improvement.

Worth raising as a feature request to ActiveCampaign—definitely something many designers would benefit from.
