Change the Pipelines back to easier/ more functional display

I came back to the Ideas page after giving up on it for years because I was curious to see if anyone was actually complaining about the deals/pipelines page. Can anyone explain to me what the issues were with the previous layout of the page? I complained directly to someone the last time they tried to change it and it was reverted back temporarily. Now it’s updated again and it’s only slightly better than the last time they tried to update it. It’s still a lot less functional. Each stage is huge, as well as the deals themselves. Which makes it so you see less stages/deals per page at a time. It also makes dragging the deals along the stages a lot harder. And the color options for each stage are now faded pastels, which is like taking that color coding option away completely. Why would we not want more vivid colors for organizing the deal stages? My idea...don’t fix what’s not broken. But if we have to stick with this new layout make a zoom in/out option for the page so we can see all the stages and change the colors back to brighter options. And if someone can actually explain to me how this update is better and what the benefits are then I’m all ears.
