What is the functions of contact CRM (with no additional package)

From support, “The marketing CRM feature mentioned is the contact CRM. The Deals CRM or sales CRM with pipeline and sales management opportunity, is an add on to virtually all of our plans!”

But what are the functions of ‘marketing crm’? From what I can tell so far, it is sending email newsletters, which is core function. But is that what they mean when AC says it includes some Customer Relationship Management functions in the base package, that you can add clients via webform and send them newsletters?

    Email marketing is indeed a core function, the “marketing CRM” encompasses the broader contact relationship management from a marketing perspective - managing leads through the awareness and consideration stages before they become sales opportunities.

    The key distinction is that the base “marketing CRM” focuses on nurturing prospects and managing marketing relationships, while the “Deals CRM” add-on provides full sales pipeline management, deal tracking, sales forecasting, and advanced sales team collaboration features.

    Think of it as: Marketing CRM = managing relationships with prospects, Deals CRM = managing relationships with active sales opportunities and/or clients.
