There needs to be an easier way to unenroll contacts when they reply then including them inside the automation before triggering the next email.

I wish it was a button as part of the settings that if the contact replies to unenroll it from the automation. same way as if they unsubscribe button that can the turn on/ off for each automation.

(tried to include an image but didn’t let me)

Hi Natalia!

Great feedback! I totally understand the frustration with the current setup. While we don’t currently have a native “stop on reply” toggle, here are a couple of approaches:

Option 1: Global Automation

  • Create a separate automation that triggers when “Contact replies to a campaign”
  • Use this to add a tag like “Replied - Stop Automations”
  • Then add conditions in your other automations to check for this tag before sending emails

Option 2: Built-in Conditions

  • Add a condition before each email step: “Has replied to campaign in the last X days”
  • If yes → end automation or go to different path
  • If no → continue with email sequence

Option 3: Active/Engagement Segmentation

  • Use engagement-based segments that automatically exclude recent repliers

Thanks for your response. #2 is what I ended up doing hence I say there needs to be an easier way. Have a good day.

Hey there, Devin from Automations here. Thanks for the feedback, this is definitely something we can consider for future Exit Criteria. Otherwise, you can always set up a Goal with the conditions you’re looking for and put it at the bottom of the automation.

I agree to this one, currently difficult.
