Question regarding CRM and Deals data after downgrade

Dear ActiveCampaign Community,

I am currently actively using the CRM features, including the Deals functionality.

If I downgrade my plan, will the existing CRM and Deals data remain available, or will any of it be lost?

Hi There!

Your CRM and Deals data will NOT be lost if you downgrade your plan. Your account retains your data even when you change plans.

What is preserved:

  • All your contacts, deals, pipelines, and CRM data remain in your account
  • Nothing gets deleted when you downgrade

But access may be restricted:

  • Depending on which plan you downgrade to, you may lose access to certain CRM features
  • For example, some lower-tier plans have limited or no CRM/Deals functionality
  • Your data will still be there, but you may not be able to view or edit it until you upgrade again

Before you downgrade:

I'd strongly recommend contacting our support team before making the change so they can:

  • Confirm exactly which features you'll lose access to on the lower plan
  • Explain what will and won't be accessible
  • Help you understand if there are any workflow automations or integrations that depend on CRM features that might be affected
