Not able to save my Emails after edit it is impacting our business and delaying our process

Same here! This is horrible, on new year’s day, one of the most important marketing times of the year. I’m completely unable to save campaigns. Of course today their chat support is off. This is insane.

Not sure why this is happening but with me it is happening for like past 3 days. And connecting with support is also not giving the solution to me.

Can you guys post the solution publicly? I’ve found like 5 threads of you asking to DM with the person. Seems like this is pretty widespread.

I have an update to share:

This issue is happening because you are using Quillbot, likely through your browser extension, not an ActiveCampaign platform issue.

Quillbot is inserting thousands (and thousands!) of HTML lines into the campaign message (which you can see when you click on the Code button in the editor), which causes our email editor to break or freeze.

This happens because the editor isn’t designed to handle such an excessive amount of code—nor should it be, as no email should have that many lines of code.

To correct, you will need to disable or uninstall the extension and create a new campaign from scratch (and not copy/duplicate one with an issue) to ensure this Quillbot code is not inserted your campaigns.

ActiveCampaign has already contacted Quillbot about this, and from what we’ve heard, Quillbot is looking into ways to prevent this from occurring in our email editor.

If you’d like to identify these issues on your own in the future, open the email editor, click the code editor icon at the top, and search for “Quillbot” or “qb-”.
