How to setup automation with specific product variation from woocommerce to active campaign

I am trying to setup a simple automation with email sent after purchase of a specific product variation. Each product variation will receive a different email and therefore different automation.

I’m unsure how to include variation to set the trigger. How do I include specific product variation to receive different automations?

I would think I can trigger by ‘product name in last order’ contains ‘variation name’ but that’s not working after several tests.

I would recommend using the “Makes a Purchase” trigger, and then use conditional content in your campaign, rather than building out various automations. Here is more information on how to use conditional content.

The following eCommerce conditions are available in Conditional Content:

  • eCommerce - Contact’s total revenue
  • eCommerce - Contact’s total # of orders
  • eCommerce - Total # of products ordered
  • eCommerce - Price of last order
  • eCommerce - Currency of last order
  • eCommerce - Shipping method of last order
  • eCommerce - Product count of last order
  • eCommerce - ID of last product purchased
  • eCommerce - Name of last product purchased
  • eCommerce - Category of last product purchased
