Exporting Deals With Primary Contact Phone Number

Abbie from ActiveCampaign - the short answer is that if phone numbers are stored at the contact level, so they would not naturally be included in a Deal Export - however, you can use an automation step “update a deal custom field” you can choose to to copy data from a contact field to your custom deal field. I’d recommend using this feature to copy the phone number from the contact record to a new custom deal field. This way, all of the contact phone numbers will be included when you export your deal records! You can even add a step like this to automations where you create or manage your early deals in order to ensure this is included in new deals in the future! 🙂
