Export all Lists and their members

Hi there, I am new to Active campaign and was tasked with exporting all of our lists (unfortunately we have hundreds) with their contacts. Is there any way to bulk export all of our lists with their contacts? Or is there a way we can bulk export all our contacts with their list subscriptions?

I see that you can export lists one at a time and that you can export all contacts but that file doesn’t contain list information. Thank you for your help on this!

Thanks for reaching out. My name is Katie and I am on the CX team here at ActiveCampaign.

In order to export the list information for each contact, you will need to have a filter set to the given list. Here are instructions on how you can export all contacts.

Hi Katie, thank you for responding! I have seen that article explaining how to export a list’s contacts. I was hoping to see if there is a way to export all lists in bulk. The dataset would have the columns: List Name, Contact Name, Email. Does a bulk export (not one list at a time) exist?

Alternatively, it would be great if we could export all contacts with the lists they are members of. This dataset would have the columns: Contact Name, Email, Array of list names. Does something like this exist?

You could add all contacts to one master list and export the master list. How many lists are you dealing with?

If not a crazy amount, you could create a custom multi-select field that keeps a record of all the lists contact is in and then do a series of bulk updates.
