Changing a Reports View

Hello,

I am quite new to ActiveCampaign so bear with me.

We send out a newsletter and I am viewing the report. Lots of entries registered with free email adresses like gmail, etc. However quite a lot from them belong to companies and I like to see that. Account fields are populated. The default view of the report shows quite some columns (some not so interesting to me) but I would love to see the account as well. How can I do that ?

Regards

Matthias

Welcome to ActiveCampaign!

Unfortunately, the campaign report view has fixed columns and doesn't currently allow you to add custom fields like Account information directly into that table. The report is designed to show contact-level engagement data (opens, clicks, etc.) rather than account-level details.

You can:

Click through to individual contact records:

  • From the campaign report, you can click on any contact's name
  • This will open their contact record where you can see their associated Account information
  • Helpful for spot-checking specific contacts, but not ideal for viewing many at once

or Export the report and merge with account data:

  • In your campaign report, click the "Export" button to download a CSV of your contacts
  • Export your contacts list with Account fields included (Contacts > Export)
  • Use Excel or Google Sheets to merge the two files based on email address
  • This gives you a complete view with both engagement metrics and account information

This is also a great item to add to our ideas portal in the main nav!

Alanna,

thanks for your fast answer. I am a bit surprised this is not possible (yet). Your suggestions are possible workarounds yet too complicated. ActiveCampaign is a mature software not a new product that doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. I have to let that sink in.
