Automation doesn't seem to be sending first email

Not sure why this isn’t working all of sudden. Looking for help and not sure if this is worth the active campaign strategy session call.

Person opts in via AC form OR fills out info leadpages,
this subscribes them to a new list.
new list sends an email immediately once someone subscribes
and it simply isn’t delivering, not to spam, no where.

Any new automation I create now simply doesn’t work.
Deliverability to existing subscribers isn’t an issue.
Please help!!!

here’s an example of a leadpages page you can opt in on – and they DO get added/subscribed to the list–but the automation doesn’t work–they don’t get the email from the automation which is the welcome email.
