What do you use for social events / triggers integrations?

Hey there!

I was wondering, do you use some integration to take care of the social automation, together with active_campaign? For example: auto-follow on twitter, when twitter is “identified”. Send message on facebook, if contact likes your page, etc.

I was wondering some options:
External triggers:
an amazing social app → some good hub (segment.io, etc, in last case zappier) → record event in active_campaign

Trigged by activecampaign:
active campaign event → an amazing social app OR integrated by segment /zappier etc.

Triggered by any other event tracking app → segment.io / zappier → an amazing social app → record event in activecampaign.

Maybe is a dummy question, but what kind of automation and integration do you use for that? Any ideas?

Biannca here from our CX team, sorry we missed this when it was originally published.

In the spirit of providing insight on this question, the draft template you’ve mentioned is a great idea. You can create automation like this. Regarding using a the 3rd party integration to “track” the social media, you would need to see if Zapier/Segment.io/etc to see if the integration can record the social media “track”/ follow and sync that back to ActiveCampaign automations.
