Hi
We are using ActiveCampaign for event registrations. User completes a form to register for an event and receives some automated follow up comm’s based on which programme they have signed up for.
What we’d like is that when an event reaches capacity that the customer is now sent our “Waitlist comm’s” emails instead. Without having to manually update the automation.
Does anyone know if this is possible somehow?
i.e could a Tag Count or something be used eg when “Tag for Event X” reaches 200 then Send instead of the normal automated emails. ?
The programmes sign up fast so sometimes we are sending info to people that is incorrect
Thanks!
I assume your program is a webinar or online meeting. We use Demio for this because its native integration with ActiveCampaign can tag webinar registrants with whatever tag I select. I can then set my emails to go to people based on whether they have/don’t have that tag (by automation, segmenting, and/or conditional content). You can also do this via platforms like Zoom, but to get the data from Zoom to ActiveCampaign, it has to go through Zapier (so you have to be paying for another product to get this functionality).
Hi Neil,
If it’s not dynamic (meaning the max capacity varies) then you can utilize the Split action to split up to n
number of contacts down the pre and post capacity paths.
