Undo a Bulk Contact Import

I just ran an import from a CSV (Exported from Discourse ironically enough) and didn’t quite pay enough attention in the mapped fields. :grin:

The result is that I now have First Name and Last name in the First Name field and some sort time/date entry in the last name…

I re-ran the import, with the correct mapped fields in the hope that it might update those contacts, but it looks like that didnt work.

Any ideas? I did some digging around, but haven’t found an answer other than modifying them manually.

Did you have the “Update existing contacts” option checked during the second import? It should overwrite those fields if you do.

I’m not 100% sure. I re-ran the import with an newer sheet (with update contacts checked) and we look good!
