Two-part multi step forms with Wordpress

I’ve spent quite a while searching the forums and documentation, but I cannot seem to find an answer for this.

I have read through and watched the video for how to create a two-step form, and while that seems easy enough, I cannot figure out how to link between form 1 and form 2 while keeping visitors on my site.

I am using your Wordpress plugin to integrate with my AC account.

Basically, if my domain is apples.com, and my step-2 form integration link is apples.activehosted.com/xx, that will force my visitors to leave the site in order to complete all the form steps.

How can I avoid that with a multi-step form?

I read somewhere that there is an ajax option in your Wordpress plugin, but I cannot find it anywhere on the plugin settings page.

Maybe there is an obvious solution to this, but please help me find it in that case then.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @happymama28889,

You can embed the forms on the site with the form embed code, and just change the “on submit” action to redirect to the page the 2nd form is on.

Hope this helps!

Hey happymama28889,

Biannca here from our CX team, I wanted share that we have a guide on how to create a multi-step form like Perry advised in her message.

This guide has a step by step process and video demo showing you how to create a multi-step form. Once you’ve created the form, you can just embed it into your WordPress site.

Please don’t hesitate to reply back out if you have any further questions.
