Track website activity for contacts in 1:1 emails

Is it somehow possible to track website activity if a 1:1 email is sent to contact person?

What I am trying to archieve is a contact persons website activity before they have received a “normal” email from AC (e.g. an email from a campaign). The scenario would be that a sales person sends a 1:1 email to a contact person. The email includes a link to our website. Goal is that the contact person clicks the 1:1 email and browses differenct pages on our website. And it is tracking of this website activity I want to capture.

Is that possible? So far I have only been able to get this working if the contact have previously recieved an email from a campaign.

Unfortunately, we can only cookie contacts through an ActiveCampaign actual campaign, and/or ActiveCampaign form. This resource will provide more info on that.

Sending a 1:1 email does not include the pixel we need to be able to “cookie” a contacts browser.
