The new automation isn't sending to people already in my list?

Hi!

I’ve set up a list and started building subscribers… I then created the automation and made it active.

an subscriber that was in the list before the automation was made active hasn’t received the email. Only new people being added to the list have received.

how do I correct this please?

Hi Melanie (@melaniebrooks),

Are you using the start trigger as “Subscribes to a list”. If so, that will only add new subscribers to the list. So, in order to add subscribers that were in the list before the automation you can do the following:

  1. Go to your “Lists”

  2. Select the list that was made before the automation, and you want to add those contacts to that new automation

  3. Then create an Advanced search for those contacts in the list who “Has not entered automation”

  4. Click “Edit All” in the top right corner

  5. From there you can bulk add those specific contacts into the automation
