Tags via integrations or Zaps

Can tags created in AC be shared via integration with the Searchie platform?
And until the Stripe payment form can be integrated in AC forms, can a tag created in Stripe be shared to the contact’s data in AC?

when you say “created” do you mean added to a contact in Stripe?

I’m not sure about the Searchie platform as I’ve never worked with it, but I would think if you can connect it to Zapier you should be able to add a tag that way.

In terms of Stripe, yes. When you integrate Stripe and ActiveCampaign default tags get created in ActiveCampaign and contacts receive that tag. This native integration does not indicate what the person has purchased through Stripe though so you might still need a third party solution such as Zapier or Make.

Yes – for this new use I’m developing, people who are not currently on my contact list could be purchasing access to an educational program in Stripe. The program content will be held and accessed from Searchie. I need specific tags for each educational program purchased in order to control which of the educational programs I offer people can access. And I’m trying to figure out how to connect all these dots.

Thank you. I’ll be offering several different educational programs, so I do need specific product purchase tags – both for communication from Active Campaign and to control which educational content people can access on Searchie. – So it sounds like this is all doable, but only with Zapier?

Here’s a starting point if you know zapier. If you don’t understand how zapier works, that’s a whole different question.

Depending on the overall work flow, you’ll prob want filters, paths, or lookup tables to manage the variables of which products get what tags added

Thank you! Yes, I already connect Searchie with Stripe for a membership program I offer. This new offering will be more complex because of individual products rather than a whole membership.

My Zaps so far have been relatively simple – I’ll have to read more about filters, paths, and lookup tables. That’s all within Zapier? – Again, thanks for your guidance! much appreciated.

Thanks @RobertSegelquist for jumping in on this.

@karencollinsnutritio yes. You can use filters, paths and lookup tables all within Zapier. You might need a specific Zapier plan to use these features. Another option might be to pull the product name from Stripe in Zapier and simply feed that into an ActiveCampaign text field. You could then build the automation in ActiveCampaign to tag contacts correctly (if you need them to be tagged). That way you could use the tool you’re already paying for rather than potentially having to up a Zapier subscription.
