Subscribers through Thrive Leads not receiving confirmation mail

Hi!

I’ve just moved from GetResponse to Active Campaign. It seems it works ok, new subscribers have been added into the mail list, but they haven’t received the confirmation email even when I have this option enabled.

(It applies to all my active forms)

Could you help me, please?

It’s going to be very difficult for us to diagnose this if it’s a deliverability problem. I’d recommend submitting a support ticket if you haven’t already. They’ll be able to look at the specific settings in your account and other data to help diagnose the exact issue here and make specific recommendations.

Just to be sure, you’re using an ActiveCampaign form to collect these email addresses, correct?

Of course, I’m using a Thrive Leads form integrated with Active Campaign API and connected to Active Campaign list. Subscribers are added to the list, but I need them to first confirm the subscription by e-mail, and they don’t receive the email…

I think this may be the issue then. In ActiveCampaign, double opt-in is attached to the form, not the list. Since you are using a Thrive form, it is bypassing the AC form.

There are ways to use double opt-in with the API. Basically, you would create an AC form and then reference that form in the API call. You may want to reach out to Thrive and encourage them to improve their integration by making it compatible with our double opt-in functionality.

You will need to create a form and link the form in the form connections area of thrive leads. A lead must be added into a form in order to receive an optin, you should create matching fields in your AC form as your thrive leads one. If you are just sending into a list that will not send the double optin

The AC list was connected with Thrive, but the form wasn’t. Now, it works perfectly.
