Start trigger: when contact is added

Hi,

How would you start an automation when a new contact is added ?
Note that I add contacts using the API.

Hi Stan,

When you add the contact with the API can you also add a tag to the record e.g. “New Contact”. You could then use this tag to start the automation?

If you set your API to update a field, you can start an automation based on when the field changes.
