Share Your Automations Here:

Active Campaign allows for sharing automations.

Here are 6 pre-built automation sequences you can import into your account right now.

If you have an automation you can share, please share it in this thread.

Note: Automation sharing does not share your e-mails, just the sequence

Awesome @afi168!!!

This is an absolutely fantastic post.

I would love to know more about your collective automations!

When you share your automation, please also give some context to your building process, logic, goals, and end results.

I look forward to seeing what everyone brings to the table.

Uhh this seems to be a fun exercise

So here is one of my e-mail online courses http://tplshare.com/kz9xQUm

It basically is set up as an 5 Day Content Drip. The automation starts by filling out a webform on any page that has to do with the content of that e-mail course.

If someone doesnā€™t open an e-mail he gets it again one day later (important side note: Iā€™ve explained the sequence in the welcome e-mail, so nobody is confused if he gets the same mail twice). That way I increase the chances of the subscriber going through the complete course without anoying them.

At the beginning of the campaign the subscribers are tagged with the course name and at the end they are tagged as ā€œcompleted courseā€. The last e-mail in this sequence is an information e-mail that lets the subscriber know that there are more email courses and that he can subscribe to any one of them by clicking the appropriate link.

Really like to know what you think.

Thanks for contributing!

Instead of sending the email twice, you can set a condition that it only sends to non-opens (the beauty of AC is that you can make your ā€˜behind the scenesā€™ actions seamless and invisible).

The 2nd email 10 minutes later may be a bit confusing, however if it makes sense for you, you may want to have a condition that they open the 1st email before sending it if they need that content first.

Donā€™t wait until the last email to pitch. Instead, start warming them to the idea early and pitch often, maybe on email 3. Do it with a link and start a new automation so that it is only delivered to the people who raised their hands.

Then I would add a ā€œSurprise Bonusā€ lesson to over deliver and then pitch again.

Hope that helps.

P.S. You can also add in automations to reactive users who fall off and donā€™t open the lessons.

Hi afi168 thanks for the feedback!

If I set that option I dont really ā€œseeā€ the way new subscribers move through the campaign (I somehow like it to see how the ā€œworkflowā€ is).

The problem here is, that not all opens are counted as opens. So Iā€™d need another set of rules to send the e-mail either way after a few minutes. Otherwise the campaign would be stuck after the first mail.

I figured since most people like to see what they get, after they subscribe to a new course, the chances of opening the first mail are pretty high. The first mail pretty much explains how the course is structured and what they get. So they donā€™t need it, but it helps if they read it. So far opening rates are at 100% for that mail.

That one is on purpose. Value, value, value. There isnā€™t even a pitch after the last mail. Just a chance to subscribe to another free e-mail course.

That last part I have to consider. I got a small bumb between day 4 and 5. So I must make some adjustments there. Thanks for the tipp!

Hi guys, love this!
Is there any way I can actually see the automation before importing? For example I donā€™t want to be logged in and import before I see what it is.

The image is not legible other than the clarity of the workflow itself :frowning:
