I’d like to store emails in a queue and have them send at a particular time.

Is there an API call to send a specific message?

Sending a test message via web GUI works.

Hello there, this is Andres from the Customer Experience team here in ActiveCampaign.

Sorry we missed this when it was originally published, but in the spirit of providing insight on this question, here is the solution we propose. We have an API call that can be used not only to create new messages but also to schedule them for a specific date and time. This way you will be able to create several campaigns and have them “on queue” so they will send automatically.
