Hello,
Is there any way to see chronologically (by date) which user subscribed latest to the list?
We have several lists, as most of us do. The DATE CREATED field is when the user joined our first list/automation, but we would like to see the user DATE JOINED to the new list we created. We need this because we sell a course and we need to contact each person that joins the course. When we have 10 is easy I guess, but after that trying to remember who joined after and who we contacted is a mess. Or double lists (AC and excel) which complicates comparison and wastes time.
So to rephrase, is there a way to see when a user joined a specific list in our AC?
Thank you a lot.
Hi there @nadiagheorghita55291! Unfortunately, this isnât exactly possible. We can only see chronologically by âDate Createdâ directly from the Contacts page, and if you do an Advanced Search with âDate Subscribedâ it will show those results, but not necessarily in that order. Hereâs one way you could accomplish this:
- Create a Custom field Date type with âDate Subscribed to the List ABCâ.
- Create an automation with the trigger âSubscribed to list ABCâ> âUpdate Custom Field with current dateâ
- To sort this, go to Contacts, then select the specific field to be sorted. https://screen.ac/6quryRAj
That way, every time a contact enters the list, the system will automatically change the field with the current date and they will have data to be filtered for this specific list.
I hope this helps!

Yes to the custom field and insert new content as âspecific timeâ and you might want to also Tag it so you can take advantage of the Tag Trends report (Contacts section) to easily see the Date Range the subscribe Tag was added.
