Scoring visits blog page

Hi folks,

I made an automation to monitor the visits from e-mail campaigns to blog articles on our website. I want to make a scoring automation that when someone visits one of our blogs with url Blogs | Force21 they receive points. I don’t want to add all our blog url’s one by one to the automation.

I noticed that when I use URL/Domain Contains or URL/Domain Starts With, no points are added. But when I use URL/Domain Exact - and add the whole url of the blog article - ActiveCampaign adds points.

What could I be doing wrong? I don’t want to add all the URLs, I want to use the Contains or Start with option. Any tips or suggestions I could try?

Many thanks in advance!
Cheers Mike

Hi Mike, Abbie from ActiveCampaign here! Sorry we missed your question - I wanted to follow up and make sure you got some assistance.

Without looking at your specific automation, it sounds like you are missing the wildcard needed for us to trigger the automation for all associated pages. Here is an example of how I would configure a trigger for all visits to particular blog domain to score contacts repeatedly:

If you’re having trouble, I’d recommend reaching out to our team at help@activecampaign.com so we can review a contact example, the automation, and help you with testing to make sure things are built correctly for your specific use case!
