Would be nice to have an “update” or refresh button on the page, so that you knew all the deals where in situ at that specific time. In case some action has happened since you last loaded the page.
Is not clear when the page updates.

Everything should update in real time. Did you notice any specific types of situations where it didn’t?
When a deal is created it is not appearing on the deals page.
When I went and found the contact, and updated the stage of the pipeline, it appeared.
I’m sorry this is happening for you. As Jason mentioned, everything in deals is supposed to update in real time. What you’re describing sounds like a bug in our deals section.
If you don’t mind, can you send an email to support@activecampaign.com describing what you’re seeing? This way we can get it documented and addressed for you.
