Re-engagement campaign email examples and what to do with inactive subscribers

I have been using engagement tracking to ID subscribers no longer opening our emails. I am now at the where I have a bunch tagged disengaged and will soon be tagged inactive.

I’d like to put them in a re-engagement campaign and see AC has a funnel for that (thank you!).

I am looking for some examples of creative re-engagement emails others have sent out to get readers back on board.

Also, when your contacts get tagged inactive, what do you typically do?
Have them unsubscribed automatically?
Move them to another list or just keep inactive tag?
Other?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there @wilmottgroup! I’d suggest re-engaging inactive subscribers with this recipe from the ActiveCampaign Marketplace! https://bit.ly/35wocSM

Hi @wilmottgroup.
Here’s an example of an email I use for my clients. The text “click here” takes them to a landing page but also adds a relevant tag to deal with unsubscribers and end the automation.

Hey %FIRSTNAME%,

Here’s the thing…

I noticed that you haven’t been opening my emails lately. :pensive:

And to make sure I’m only sending email to people who want to hear from me, I wanted to give you a chance to unsubscribe.

If you’re just too busy to read my emails, that OK.

Just click here and you’ll be removed immediately without you having to do anything else.

Still want to get my emails?

You, %FIRSTNAME%, are awesome! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

To stay on the list, click here and you’ll be kept in the loop.

But, if you don’t let me know either way, you will be automatically removed from my email list in 7 days.

The choice is yours.

Cheers!
