Ran out of contacts in AC

I’ve run out of contacts in AC, and AC already recharged me for the same kind of account which doesn’t have additional contacts. Obviously, I’m going to choose a plan that has additional contacts, but I Want to change to monthly billing. Will AC reimburse the plan they just charged me for? Especially since it’s useless to me?

Abbie from ActiveCampaign here - it sounds like you’re not currently on a monthly plan, and in addition to changing your contact limit, you’d like to adjust your cycle to billing as well…does that sound correct? In general, we will always prorate whatever you’ve paid towards your upgraded bill, so if you were to add more contacts on your current plan, you would only be charged for the difference between what you’ve already paid for that period and what the higher contact limit plan would be. If the cost of your new plan is lower than the cost of your previous plan, there would be no additional charge. However, any remainder would not automatically act as a credit towards future months, so future renewals would be charged at the new subscription price.
