Is there a personlization tag for the day of the week so we can show that in a text block?

Hi you can use the Current Day of the Week, with the merge field (%Day_Today%) so for example you can use in text a message like “Have a fantastic Friday”.

Hi @fredericksburgfreepr (Chris). Welcome to the community.
There no built in personalisation tag to show the current day of the week. It’s not difficult to create one though.

First, create a custom text input field called Day of week.

You may want to change the time zone setting in each of the Wait actions.

Don’t forget to make it Active.

Once you have it setup, choose how new subscribers will be put into the automation
