Notify external vendor with certain contact field + message variable

Hi people!

Situation
After a contact has reached a certain step in an automation we need to notify an external vendor with:

a) a subset of the contacts custom fields
Only those that are relevant for said vendor

b) the content of a message variable
More specifically: A piece of information that has to be identical for both the customer and the vendor.

Problem:
I cant implement this properly via the notification action since notifications break message variables (see here) + it’s not possible to deactivate AC branding completely.

Support told me to use the Webhook-Action + Zapier for that.

But how? The Webhook-Action does not have any options as far as I can see.
How should I send the message variable to Zapier?

Hi,

Just jumping in here.

When a contact hits a webhook action in an automation, all of its relevant contact information including custom fields is sent to the URL specified.

Once you have set it up to send to Zapier, you would then build the email in Zapier itself as one of it’s own tools. You can then set up the body, including only the fields you wish to share with the vendor. Screenshot: http://screen.ac/0b4f02b2d3f3.
