Lots of searching has not produced the answer, just questions asked before that have also not been answered. I’m wondering if you can help me.
I have a large monthly zoom networking group that occurs on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, I want to send a reminder out 6 days BEFORE that. I’d also be fine if it went on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
How do I setup the automation to make that work?

You can customize this automation recipe to work for this purpose.
You’ll just need to track the webinar date to a date-based custom field, especially for a recurring webinar. To do this, you can create a small automation for when people submit your sign-up form that automatically adds the webinar date to a custom field. Then you can adjust the date in this automation after each webinar. I hope this helps! 
Hi Molly, thanks for the reply. A couple points to clarify…
1.This is a zoom meeting, not a webinar, does that matter?
2. Are you saying that I would need to change the custom date in the custom date field for every single person that registered for the zoom meeting?
