Hello,

I want to send emails every month based on a specific day of the month.

Is that possible? I see that is only possible to make a automation based on a day and month match.

I need to create a planed email sequence depending to a fixed calendar, and the customer has not to follow the entier sequence, but has just to receive emails which are planned after his subscription date…

Hi there, Amy from ActiveCampaign’s Customer Experience Team. We’re just refreshing our forum page and I wanted to add some help here for anyone who comes across this page/question/post.

You are certainly correct, you would need to set up an automation that includes the following steps:

  • Start trigger
  • Wait step: Conditions include the day of the month, the month and (if you’d like) the time
  • Email step
  • Wait step: Conditions include a 1 day wait step
  • Go to action > redirects contacts back to the top of the automation

Here is a quick demonstration as a walkthrough. You’ll note that I added an alternative option where you use Goal steps and multiple monthly newsletters or RSS based campaigns (though this would still require you to update the RSS feed) so to some degree there is manual action occurring.
