How can I track how long someone whatched a video? I have a follow-up sequence built to go out if they left before the 10 minute mark another if they left before the 20 minute mark and another if they reache the end of the video.

This is something that you could do using Event Tracking. You would want to listen for your video player’s event that fires when a person has watched your video for that period of time.
The solution would be rather technical and would require a developer to implement, and it would also depend on what video player you are using on your site.

There is a plugin called AC Video Tracker that will do this. It works with YouTube, Wistia, and Vimeo. PM me for more info.
