Lead generation forms or tracking conversions for mental health clinics

Hi ActiveCampaign Community! I’m looking for some advice on how others in healthcare, particularly in mental health clinics, are creating or using lead generation forms or tracking conversions from marketing initiatives while remaining HIPAA compliant. We want to ensure our marketing efforts are effectively tracked, but patient privacy is, of course, a top priority. Any tips or best practices for this in healthcare would be greatly appreciated! (*side note: We’re currently using blog and newsletter sign-up forms, have connected our Eventbrite events to ActiveCampaign, and are about to publish lead gen quizzes on our website.)

HI @behavioralhealthclin, it sounds like you’re on a pretty good track to me. From a HIPAA compliance standpoint, it’s worth separating out your Contacts who are Patients and those who are prospective Patients. Once they reach a stage when they are signed up, it’s important to separate out their leads into another patient system that ensures their data is behind HIPAA compliant records system.

AC has done the paperwork to get a BA for compliance though so you should check in with your Customer Success team to ensure you have all of that in your instance.

Does that help? Or were you able to reach a different resolution since this was initially posted?
